Onaorkal Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 In the bottom part of the card, we can see a calico cat sleeping on some white smooth surface (bed sheets?). The rest of the card is composed of many individual elements that probably represent what her dreams are made of. We can see a grey tabby kitten, a mouse sitting in a pile of dry leaves, a water fountain with a bird bathing in it, some kind of pink flowers, the face of a cat with half-closed eyes, a flying fish jumping over water, a bowl filled with shrimps, a fish-shaped cat toy, a branch of catnip flowers and a double fountain flowing with milk. Colors : Nothing stands out, but the colors are quite vibrant. This card is dealing with our dreams and wishes and how to make them a reality. The author advises us to keep dreaming, because ''[…] by wishing for them, we begin to make them real.'' It's basically the concept of the law of attraction! Symbolism : Sleeping/eye closed : Denotes relaxed state, passiveness and rest. White color (bed sheets) : Symbolizes purity and innocence. Number 9 (dreams/elements) : Symbolizes completion and achievement. Kitten : Typical representation of immaturity and impulsivity. In this case it could simply mean that the cat is dreaming of having babies one day. Mouse : Symbolizes resourcefulness, modesty and determination. Also a fairly common cat prey. Dead leaves : The brown mouse amongst the pile of dead leaves on a naked ground is the only element reminiscent of life in the wild/forest. This could represent the cat's wish for a completely 'free' life, like a wild cat. Water fountain : Symbol of endless/continuous flowing energy. Bird : Represents freedom, liberation. Cat face : It's hard to tell for sure, but this cat could be the calico's ''man of her dreams''. I don't think there is any other 'deep' symbolism related to it. It would simply represent the wish to be in a romantic relationship. Flying fish : Hold various symbolism, especially related to dreams. It might mean abundance, difficulties that will be overcame or being set free from emotional struggles. Once again, fish is also a common cat prey. Water (ocean) : Represents life and the emotional realm. Food-filled bowl : Represents abundance, basic needs being fulfilled. Toy (golden in color) : Represents wealth/abundance, non-basic needs being fulfilled. Catnip : Cats' favorite treat/indulgence. Milk fountain : Another representation of abundance and non-basic needs being fulfilled, as milk is a treat a lot of cats love.
