NoellaRoyce Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 (edited) Hello! So as a personal project I'm coloring Echo Chernik's tarot for coloring that she had a Kickstarter for a couple of years ago. The art is straightforward and in her illustrative style (which I really enjoy), with lots of white space to work with. In the beginning I was disappointed there wasn't more detail or flourish in her Art Nouveau style, I now love that simplicity because it's allowed me to customize them a lot, add keywords, etc. Add swirls. I really have a big thing for swirls. I'd love to finish these in the next six months so I can read with them, although at the speed I'm going at currently that's an absolute pipe dream! But this here thread is to keep me accountable and make me keep going. I'm using my hodge-podge of colored pencils, black pens of various provenance and and a white pen for highlighting. A downside is it's a very hard, smooth paper better suited or ink mediums, so the colored pencil blending is a bit stubborn. The first 12 I've completed (there's no particular order, if you can't tell!) The Knight of Wands I believe he was the first one I did; was still getting used to the paper, the way my pencils acted on the surface, what the hell I was doing, etc. The Moon Four of Wands Seven of Cups Edited September 22, 2019 by NoellaRoyce
