Jewel Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Last week I was feeling very nostalgic so I reviewed the 2 decks that I learned Tarot with (Robin Wood and Tarot of the Old Path) back in the early 90’s. To see that they are still in print made me smile 😊 I was amazed at how quickly some decks go OOP in comparison, good decks. Are there any old decks that make you feel nostalgic?
Carla Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Morgan Greer Tarot. It was the third deck I ever bought. I still have it. The artwork is naff but I love it, and it has my favourite Queen of Swords of all time. It used to be my avatar at AT.
Aylis Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 (edited) The Hanson-Roberts and the Mythic Tarot decks always make me feel nostalgic. The Hanson Roberts was my first Tarot deck. I loved that Queen of Cups so much! My 16 year old self found it to be such a magical, fantastical deck. I also love the Mythic Tarot (not the new version but the one with the original drawings). Such a great workhorse deck and the way it drew from classical mythology makes it feel timeless. I think they were supposed to re-release the deck with its original artwork. Not sure if that has happened.... Edited October 11, 2019 by Aylis
