I got a deck made from Game Crafter. It needs to be placed again because a lot of backs are showing a little white along an edge and some on the front. Going to retry but am wondering if once we get it right, will all decks ordered after that be exactly the same? Kinda worried about that. This trying to print a deck is frustrating. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.😊

I'd ask reall, who uses them - but my experience with other printers means that I ALWAYS bleed past the bleed lines they suggest. Also someone who ordered from them recently had all the cards printed a bit askew...

you need to make sure your card img is fully covered with color edge to edge! ie if your tarot card template is 900x1500pxl & 300ppi you are uploading that size img FULLY COVERED WITH COLOR & no white around edges! no need to extend anything as it's that same size & no white! that's what they print then cut 3mm around edges!(; that's why digital files are actually larger(7,6x12,6mm) than printed cards 7x12cm!;)

if there is white line present/or any other printing error on your printed cards that is not there on your digital img you contact costumer service with photo of issue you are complaining & they check it/compare with digital file & send you replacement deck if it's indeed their/printing error & not yours!;)

same goes for everyone who order your deck from gamecrafter! as far as I know it's regular procedure & called contingency (expected error ratio is around 3/6/10% etc depending on printer quality!) & it's expected your cards will look like they should (if you do all correctly!:) BUT there is so called 3mm drift meaning img you submitted can end up printed off center in any direction & that's why white line! if that drift is under 3mm & your img fully covered with color you are ok as it most likely wont show & if drift is above 3mm they Will send you replacement!:) so it's nothing to worry about as long as you stick to your printer guidelines!;)

sorry for long post i know i'm bad explaining things BUT I will fix you 1 card sample if that helps?;)

Thanks so much for taking the time. Fingers crossed. I'll just be happy to have 5 decks for now for gifts, so going to give it another shot. I'm putting one of my original up for the fun of it. An amatuer but really enjoyed making it. 😊

omf! Luv your Art!:D is this full image for your card/what you want your cards to look?;)

ok, i've just did some quick black & white borders & borderless samples to give you idea how this *card printing work!;D

take a look & tell me what you think?;)

p.s All this & color fix is just quick auto i did it can be better/color temperature hues contrast etc any direction you wish as long as you know some digital img edit program & gimp my fav!;)

also red is what end up cut in printing process BUT should be filled with some color unless you wish to end up with white line in case of drift!;)

eta; you can go with border BUT it may not look good in case of drift yor border can end up double size on 1 side & no border on oposite card size that's why printers/gamecrafter advise against borders & for borderless!;)

Wow, thank you for the compliment! This one's colour seemed to turn out okay. Some I wanted a little darker than others and not much colour whereas a lot are painted much more colourful. The art is fairly consistant but I've mixed it up quite a bit. The outside of the art is cut down in the cards. I  purposely filled the whole other areas, bleed etc, and used a frame to show me the card area to make sure nothing got left out when made into a card. This card came back with a thin strip of white on the back top and an even finer one on the front top. Weird because there is a lot of extra painted area on the original so that wouldn't happen.

you are welcome!;) yes this looks awesome so who ever did formatting know it's work!;)

just be sure to stick to printer requirements & fill full card size with color next time!;)

also it's good idea to take pic of your misprinted cards & email them to gamecrafter costumer service to check & they'll know if it's their print error & send you replacement or something with your digital img you need to fix?;)

All Best!
