Hello, my name's Ermite (pronounced air-meet), I'm an amateur card reader. My brother is a much better reader than I am, I grew up with him reading them as a hobby for years now and so I took up the practice rather recently, but I'm not nearly as gifted as he is. I've had a few times where I've read and predicted outcomes in the cards, but I don't feel confident at all in my reading abilities so here I am looking for feedback, tips, suggestions, anything really.

As I mentioned, I didn't take up the practice until about a year ago when I bought my Biddy's Everyday Tarot cards. I had bought decks before (a lot of decks...) but I would end up giving them to my brother because they never seemed to work for me. I would usually buy them because I loved their artwork. Biddy's Everyday Tarot deck actually works well for me, though; I got the mini deck and it fits nicely in my hand and the artwork isn't too complicated or too simple for me to read. So that's the deck I've been working with, the only deck since I bought it.

 

So yeah, that's a little bit about me. I hope I can learn more from this forum and from all of you lovely people. If you've read this far, thanks for doing so haha.
