I've developed a browser-based application that can be used as a card deck tabletop simulator. Any Tarot researcher is welcomed to use that software with a research purpose. Cards in the program are draggable around, which virtualizes the real tangible card deck. The link to a fully functional online version is available when asked for

This does seem interesting, as plain as it looks. I presume you are using chess figurines to symbolize the court cards, roman numerals to represent the majors, and playing card suits to represent minor arcana suits? Could you explain why some of the playing card symbols are shaded and some are not? Does that represent reversed cards?

I also see a skull and an ankh. Do those represent death and another major arcana card? If you are using roman numerals for the major arcana, wouldn't it be better to keep to using roman numerals for all of them?

You are correct. Pictures can be used as per one's preference. Here my software looks like generic Tarot. I used the rook symbol for Aces. But others might prefer just the number one. Some of the suits signs are darkened because those cards are believed to be bad ones. I believe that there are six bad cards in the suit of swords, for example, the last three cards prior to the court cards. Of course, all major arcana can be unified with just Roman numbers. However, I chose the black rook for the tower, the ankh for the High Priest, and you also guessed right about Death. Reversed cards are not used in my program. The program has two types of shuffling: manual and automatic. You can import an external array of random numbers also
