I remember seeing some very old cards when I was in my grandmas house a long time ago. The one thing I remember most vividly is the old style depictions of the drawings, which is the reason i like reading today about the medieval times and anything that was associated with that era. Do you have a suggestion to make as to  which deck should I buy, that its drawings are inspired from that era? Preferably a deck I can easily order through the internet?

Seconding the Marseilles Tarot as the one you probably saw, iirc it had a lot of printings about 50 years ago. Be advised a few cards have different names, the Tower is called the House of God, and there is a pope/popess combination as well. Fred Gettings did a pretty solid breakdown of this deck design and the symbolism behind it back in the 80s.

Tarot was only created in ca1442, so there is no true Medieval version, but many decks are inspired by the medieval period. here is some examples:
