Hi, guys!  I made a spread for myself tonight and figured I would share it here. Anyone is free to use it / adapt as they wish!

Dealing with and healing from trauma:

hi.thumb.jpg.74127c89f0d2501854e2c73a0473f14d.jpg

1 - What do I need to in order to heal from this pain?

2 What can help me in this healing process?

3. What can hurt me in this healing process?

4. What is my goal?

5. What is the outcome?

And here's my spread reading, as the example:

1 - What do I need to in order to heal from this pain?

The World: You need to as always, get out of your own head and see your place in the bigger picture; remember that you never know where these paths will take us and that you are still a part of this great net of souls, you are still doing the Great Work to tell the story of humanity, you are still here to carry on

2 What can help me in this healing process?

The Knight of Cups: You need a passion project, even if it’s a little reckless or aimless or implausible — an infusion of a joyous quest to remind you to do what you love

3. What can hurt me in this healing process?

The Page of Wands: You will definitely be hampered by the pressure to be vigorous and super productive, to turn all your thwarted creativity into concrete results, but the important thing is not to work out of a sense of obligation but rather out of a sense of joy, curiosity, and excitement.

4. What is my goal?

The Chariot: To move on, to be released from stagnation, to feel a real sense of progress in your life.

5. What is the outcome?

The Ace of Wands: A swift, vibrant new beginning.

Just curious, why do you place the outcome in the corner of goal and hurt? I'd understood a more positive approach in the corner of help and goal or the neutral spot above the goal as a logical 'end point' of the spread.

@lucksmith oh what an interesting question! i apologize for not answering sooner, i didn't see your reply until now.

probably because of the celtic cross as the fundamental spread most of us learn and branch out from, i tend to view ascendance and a left-to-right reading as progressive. So it makes sense to me to place the outcome in the upper right-hand corner. in the end, of course, it's just down to personal preference; i don't think it gains meaning from being located in a different position.

Very interested in using this. Looks like a good spread. ☺

@bookshop I agree, in the end it does not matter as long as one is fine with the location and the meaning it gives. But thank you for sharing your perspective on why and where, as it is a totally different approach to what i usually do with my spreads 🙂 It makes perfect sense to see the progression from one direction to the other, it was just not obvious as my approach differs from that.
