Ugh, almost the end of vacation!  THAT went quick!  Especially since my husband hurt his back and got a bad, bad cold.  He might be well by the time he goes back to work Monday.    :-\  So instead of cleaning out the house and doing a few day trips we stayed home and did nothing.  Oh well, it was relaxing at least!

My deck for the week ahead is my newly arrived Santa Muerte - so perfect for the season!

It's already been a week??? Well, I've hardly gotten to touch my Tarot or Oracle decks! Guess I'll be in with The Sacred Circle Tarot and A'HA Oracle again. (I'm hoping to get a chance to pick up the Medicine Cards deck, or something else maybe this weekend.)

I'll be using the Wild Unknown Tarot & Animal Spirit Oracle this week. Still studying the meanings of the oracle, so I haven't started reading with it yet. Thanks VG!

I'm in the mood for something different this week so I'll be doing the Medieval Scapini and the Mythic Tarot ;D Medieval Scapini is a bit of its own thing and the Mythic is greek mythylogy gone mostly RWS. Haven't used the Mythic yet for DotW and I've had it since Spring so it's about time.

Rose Lalonde - Tabula Mundi Tarot

(I wasn't able to spend time with last week's decks, but still found a way to at least pull up the app for my go-to TM, so I might as well just say TM this week, since it's the only one I know I'll clear a moment to read.)

Thanks, VG!

I'm going with Wild Unknown this week. I've done a few random pulls with it, but I haven't gotten to know it yet. I do have fun with it when I use it, though.

From the Tarot de St. Croix, the Nine of Pentacles; from the Archetype Cards, 'Angel:'

St. Croix writes in her booklet, "Prosperity comes from doing the work you love." I know some folks who are wealthy, but they aren't necessarily happy in a healthy sort of way. To prosper means to thrive and flourish; it is on another level than simply having a fat wallet. Perhaps what I do for a living is separate from what I love, yet my paycheck gives me the financial freedom to nourish that side of myself. As long as I have a chance to grow my own 'sunflowers,' I can still bloom. The Angel card doesn't have anything to do with winged celestial beings, but people willing to be of service to others without expectations. Victor Hugo wrote, "It is by suffering that human beings become angels." I've experienced such kindness from those who've suffered. My friend Sharyn  (who took care of two parents with dementia) sent a very helpful DVD to me when we became caretakers of my mother-in-law. Some of us harden our hearts when life deals a heavy blow, while others grow metaphorical wings and become mentors. These 'angels' can teach us how to prosper no matter what the weather brings.

A few days ago, I held a new deck interview spread for my Modern Spellcaster's Tarot, and the results were very encouraging. Later I'm going to use it for my Circle of Seasons October reading and a few draws and spreads too. I'm happy that I'm going to really get to bond with my deck. :)
