14 - The Sidhe

14 ~ The Sidhe:~ The Sidhe have been considered for many moons to be quite a distinct and noble race of Fae folk, quite separate from the human race but who over the centuries have had much contact with the mortals of our world. The Sidhe are believed to have many powers but by far their greatest gifts are to shape-shift and temper all manner of alchemical elements. The Sidhe before us now is in full swing of spell making and the brewing of her potion is almost complete, there are Fae sprites dancing with glee around her shoulder and her broom in the background stands to attention in anticipation of the night ahead. There is fire abound all around her and in the background an open fire radiating its power into the room that is lit heavily with candles, which would suggest an affiliation with Sagittarius, who in himself is symbolic of successful creativity, spiritual harmony and an alchemical balance like no other. We see outside the window a cow in the moonlight chewing the cud giving meaning to a beneficent compassion and the triple feminine goddess. A bunch of lavender in a vase in the foreground is also an allegory of calmness of mind, spirit and body working in complete harmony with the cosmos.

The second cycle of our fool’s journey is at its turning point ready for the final leg. We have explored our sub-consciousness and are now coming to the end of our middle world initiation and heading onto the enlightened path of the soul. Here we are now in perfect harmony and at one with life, death, the consciousness and the sub-consciousness. We have experienced the initiation of transformation and so been left with the harmony needed to partake in the third cycle and the path to illumination.
