16 ~ The Wild Hunt:~ This is a classic Tower image but more-so in the respect of CHAOS! We see what looks like the four horsemen of the apocalypse riding into oblivion, lightening crashing all around, light emanating from roof and window. The tower itself looks like it’s about to explode into ten thousand pieces and break itself down into its individual component parts. Piece by piece though, it can be rebuilt into an even stronger framework, standing on its more than substantial foundations. The rooster flapping in sheer panic is there to remind us that with self-confidence, vigilant arrogance and pride we can tear down the diaphanous fabric of our lives and begin to build a better and brighter future. Planted on either side of the door way there are a couple of Rue plants in full flower. Rue is commonly known in magickal circles, for its many uses in spell craft that have strong associations with its historical and traditional uses. Most often worn as a protection against powerful enchantments, especially where the Fae or the Sidhe are concerned, carrying it in an amulet can ensure against others gaining the ability to control one’s mind and spirit. This amulet is a combination of Rowan leaves with Rue and Basil, tied into a golden or a white cloth and carried or worn about the person. Traditionally it is sewn into sachets, along with other powerful herbs, to bring health, power, luck and success, especially when travelling far from home.
