FLizarraga Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 I bumped into this deck while looking for something else on Google, and I was surprised to find no reference to it in the forums, or almost anywhere. It's... intriguing. Nothing we have not seen before, down to the cobweb on the backs, but intriguing nonetheless. The Kickstarter campaign was funded last year: It should be available in April, and can still be preordered on Etsy. The campaign includes the Etsy link, but just in case here it is: https://www.etsy.com/listing/752558952/pre-order-the-star-seeker-tarot-deck?ref=listing_published_alert What do you guys think?
Flaxen Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 The style reminds me of the Moonchild/Starchild decks - think it’s the colour palette used which is reminiscent of those decks. It’s a very pretty deck and a few years ago I probably would have bought a copy. Nowadays, the cost of shipping plus import tax means a higher bar for US decks.
FLizarraga Posted February 16, 2020 Author Posted February 16, 2020 I hear you. For me, it's the cost of decks, period. It keeps going up, and up. For that price, I'm better off getting the new edition of the Tarot of Ceremonial Magick.
Arania Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 I wish more decks would be made digitally available, and I don't mean on stupid apps but to print out with the stock you want. I have redone several unshuffable/undalable decks or decks with ugly borders anyway. It will not even be all that cheap printing/gueling/card protecting it whatever, but it would make a deck affordable everywhere.
