How do you pin a thread?

I want to lock a thread at the top of a certain sub-forum. Would that require some assistance from a moderator?

 

Well, I'd like to sticky this index thread in particular to the top of the Barbara Walker Study Group subforum, since it contains links to all the threads in that sub. It's very convenient since anyone would be able to immediately access any particular card they desire through it.

I'm pretty sure only moderators can pin threads yes.

I think that's a good thing haha, since many people could have very different views about what is relevant enough to be pinned at the top of general sections!  ;D

Hey, thanks Onaorkal!. You're probably right, if it were up to me I'd pin all my threads to the top of their subs because I'm cool like that. 8) I just sent my PM. :D
