Add as article?

Hello! In a thread I participate in, there's an option in the right hand side corner above the first post to Add as article. I'm not sure what this does. I clicked on it to see and was told that I first needed a category... and then I was redirected from the category link to a login page.

 

Can anyone enlighten me? Thank you. :)

Can you give a link to this thread? And maybe a screenshot focusing on the Add As Article option you're referring to. We'd love to help. :)

I believe this forum software has the capability to have a kind of library, however I don't have that enabled or set up so I'm unsure why you get the option.  I'll look at that, but in the meantime it's best not to mess with it.  :-*

 

I don't see that option myself on my own side.

When you open a subforum and then a thread, there are buttons at the top that say:

REPLY

NOTIFY

MARK UNREAD

SEND THIS TOPIC

PRINT

ADD AS ARTICLE

(Once you hit Reply, you don't see the buttons.) I think this is what Starlight is referring to. :D

Thank you, everyone, for your help. I'm so sorry I didn't add screenshots and so on, but Bodhiseed[/member] is correct about where on the screen it was.

 

And yes, Little Fang[/member] , I think you've sorted it out because I can't see that option any more. :)
