Yoshi Yoshitani's Tarot of the Divine (Fairytale Tarot)

I was looking to see if there was a thread to share my excitement that this deck is available to order (I've been watching it for a couple of years now!)  but I can't see a thread...   I've pre-ordered (the first time I've EVER done that with a deck) and am really looking forward to it.  Roll on September.

I couldn't stop looking at her stuff - I absolutely love her interpretation of The Empress, The Moon and The Hermit. I really might have to get the deck.

Omg I want this! I'm such a sucker for fairy tales so this really hit the spot for me. Hmmm... I'll have to see where I can squeeze this into the budget

It's not my kind of deck but out of curiosity, I cannot seem to find the price for the tarot deck at either link you provided.  I'm only seeing $40 for a print of some of the cards.  How much are they charging for the deck??  And where are you pre-ordering?  That website just leads one around in circles - very frustrating trying to get information.

It looks like at the moment you can't preorder the deck from the creators website but they do link you to where you can if you go through the info bit I think.

Sorry, yes, I should have said that I'd linked to the artist's own site because it had more images of the cards!

I cannot wait for this deck to arrive. I ordered the book to go with it. I love folklore, myths and fairytales.

 

@geoxena, The deck is not too expensive on Amazon in US for about $17 and book is $12.

I'd recommend getting the book if you get the deck - I confirmed with the creator that the book that comes with the deck doesn't actually go into the myth/tale depicted in the card, so you'll miss out on a lot of the symbolism without the book 🙂

I've got both deck and book coming 😁 I really don't need another deck but I love fairytales too much not to get both 😁

Bring on September! (or more likely October by the time it makes its way to me in little NZ)
