How to Read an Astrological Grand Tableau Spread

Hi,

I'm mostly an astrologer who is new to reading Lenormand.  When  I watched Lenormand readers on YouTube, I noticed some parallels with the form of astrology I read most often, horary.  Horary astrology is very practical and is used for concrete predictions. Lenormand is used in similar situations, but I find it to be chattier, offering more detail.  When I use astrology for the connecting structure and Lenormand for the details, I find the two used together can be quite accurate and descriptive.

This is an astrological GT spread.  It's the first reading I did using my GT "cheat sheet" that shows the positions 1-36, with three positions in each astrological house.  I shuffled the cards, placed a card over each position for the question, "How is an astrological GT reading done?"  I offset the cards slightly to remind me which positions they appear in, and read them either according to the astrological houses, or in a chain.  I took a photo of the throw for future reference.  Now when I want to remind myself how this spread can be used for a reading, I can study this throw for reminders.

I'm using the term "houses" to mean astrological houses.  I know Lenormand refers to houses in GT reading, but I'm calling them "positions" to avoid confusion.

Here is a breakdown of the astrological houses, for those who are not familiar or need an introduction.  In horary astrology, we "turn the chart" for perspectives other than our own.  This means my second house is my money, my fifth house represents my children, my seventh house is my spouse, my eighth house is my spouse's money, my children's money is the second of my fifth, my children's spouse is the seventh of my fifth, etc.  This technique is also called "counting houses."   Looking at the correct house of the chart for an answer is crucial to the accuracy of the reading.
