Independent Pam-C scan edition?

I have not been buying new decks lately, but this one on Amazon got my eye:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/0646804286/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It seems to be some kind of independent printing of a Pam-C scan, as far as I can tell.

(No big connoisseur, moi; I just used these as comparison: https://www.wopc.co.uk/tarot/rider-waite/rider-waite-early-editions.)

The backs show a sort of mandala on an indigo background. The cardstock is linen, though a bit on the flimsy side, and easily scratched, and the finish is not exactly glossy (and I don't think there is any kind of lamination at all), but there is some kind of semi-glitterish effect when the light hits the cards directly, that does not seem intentional and could be due to the ink used. It's printed in China.

Nothing too fancy, but not too badly done, for the price. The creator and seller is an entity called Miriyan, and this is their website: https://miriyan.com/

Indeed $19 for a deck with a premium linen cardstock it looks too good to be true, but maybe true. These days I'm suspicious.

For the cardstock I noticed that it is 350 gm; I have a deck with a 350 gm cardstock (the Rackham on Kickstarter), and the cards are a bit too thick for me (I checked that and saw that this deck is now sold with a not glossy linen 310 gm, so I regret my glossy Kickstarter finally, well, it's another deck and story).

ETA: read the first reviews on Amazon there is a problem with the cardstock, not really premium apparently (and not 350 gm too).

And this below (while there are as well happy customers):

That looks like the rip-off one several of us on carto (I think) bought last year. I would have said the Smith-Waite was well out of copyright so that's not an issue - but there were two cheap ones circulating last year - one was actually nice and one definitely wasn't. The colouring was DIRE. Just so you know.

Here's a thread about the NICE one. I know I posted some cards from the awful one, somewhere.

The Siren Imports one is lovely. The other - is not.

The cardstock, as some Amazon reviewers have said, is definitely NOT 350gm. It's A LOT thinner. (I LOVE thick yummy 350gm linen cardstock, and LOOOOOVED the Rackham's.) Whippy, still, and has the linen texture I love. But not really premium, either. I have not even shuffled it yet, but I can tell you it is firmly on the FLIMSY side.

The coloring is not dire, but it is.... a tiny bit off. I have not compared it side to side to my other Rider Waites, but to my (admittedly untrained) eyes there is a slight greenish cast to the cards. Not enough to make it into "greenies" a la Thoth, but sufficiently there to give yellows a touch of... well, piss.

I remember seeing the first card, the Ace of Pentacles, which has no red in it, and going... "Oh."

As an aside, I clicked on your link to the "nice one," the Siren Imports one I bought a couple of years back, and it seems to have morphed into "Da Brigh Original Tarot Cards" --whatever that means.

Oh my. They were both out there are the same time and I bought both as they really were cheap. The dud has huge patches of colour missing.... It called itself

MandAlimited Classic Tarot Cards aka The Unknowable Lives in a Pack of Cards

The Siren one looks just like the one on this page:

https://store.sirenimports.com/tarot-cards-wholesale

It's also om ebay.

The dud has a hefty solid black box.
