Isis Oracle Cards?

Hi everyone!

While looking online recently I stumbled across Alana Fairchild's Isis Oracle Cards. The artwork is striking, but the cards themselves (e.g. meanings) aren't like anything I've ever seen before. Does anyone have these cards or know someone who has them who would be able to tell me a bit more about them? Do you find them difficult to work with, and what do you use them for? Any information would be appreciated!  :)

I don’t have them but I’ve used them a few times through her site https://alanafairchild.com/oracle/ I quite like them and always find the message useful

Oh that's interesting! I hadn't seen that feature on her website - I like to know what to expect from the cards and guidebook before I buy a deck (not sure if anyone else has that urge)  ;D Thanks for sharing!

The Isis Oracle is an interesting deck.  It helps if you have a lot of Egyptian occult knowledge.  The messages aren't straight forward like most oracles but they do work when I use the deck.  I usually use it in relation to any of my Egyptican tarot decks, then it makes more sense.  The deck also works well as a single card pull.  Then you can delve into the answer and take it as it is presented.

Thanks for the advice! Do you use it mainly for spiritual topics?

No, I actually use it a lot for the writer readings I do.  Especially if their story is pre-history.  I also use it for fantasy readings because the messages are so odd.  Like I said, it's not like Psychic Tarot (Oracle) or Energy Oracle where it's one keyword and a picture to match.  If you're familiar with the Wild Kuan Yin, I liken it to that with the odd messages.  New Age-y perhaps?

Oh that's interesting! I haven't heard of using tarot for writing prompts, but that's an idea!

I've seen the Wild Kuan Yin Oracle online, but I don't have it. They, and her original Kuan Yin Oracle, certainly seem to be very unusual decks!

I don't do it for writer prompts.  I'm a member on a writing site and I help the writers that get blocked or need help planning a story or several other things like what genre to write in.  Sometimes I need really visual cards and the Isis works great for that!

Ah I see - that's just as interesting!
