Hello everyone, I have studied Tarot for the last 7 years (on and off I must admit but I did always have the cards in mind). I have used Crowler's Thoth almost immediately and have not changed since. Being passionate about learning, I found there a perfect life-long learning subject. Funny enough, not that long ago I had a typical "scientism" mindset, no astrology nor tarot nonsense would even deserved my attention. But I slowly realised the power of the mind on the "external" world and a deep rooted need for spirituality emerged. So I started some heavy reading and had amazing experiences. Since then the study of the occult and the practice of div…

I’m not sure if this a right place to introduce myself, please move me elsewhere if this a case. Tarot has been a part of my life over 20 years. I’m introvert. My gemini mercury and sun are in the 12th house and it has been a long process to find a voice of my own. Tarot and astrology have helped me enormously. I am awkward writing english, I hope I don’t be misunderstood and I apologize mistakes in my writing. Because of this I’m not going to be very active. But I read fluently. I have recently used and studied among others Julia Cuccia Watts Journey into Egypt Tarot and in the high priest card she aptly describes the way the christian religion o…

Hi everyone! My name is Aurora Moone, and I absolutely love tarot and tea! My favorite deck is Legacy of the Divine, and my favorite tea is anything with either catnip or passion flower tea! I've been reading tarot for 22 years, and it's just such a fun way to easily connect to the little strands of ether that lead us down trails of knowledge! I'm excited to be around people that love this style of divination!

Nice to meet you all. I’m 32 year old, female, UK. Similar to many of you guys, I’m introverted and socially awkward. However, I do have an intense need to connect with other people, and I would like to improve my social skills, especially when it comes to talking to authority figures. Having studied books on how to build social connections in the real world, I decided to turn to Tarot to help guide me in these areas. Any advice you could offer would be fantastic, as I am a complete newbie. Thank you!

Hello, I wanted to introduce myself as a newbie to Tarot and I’ve been looking for a community to belong to and I think I may have found one finally! I've been into tarot for the past 3 or 4 years and recently I've decided to learn tarot myself. I've been having some experiences while learing and I'm hoping I can find the right thread to express these experiences. I look forward to getting to know the community better! 🙂 - EmpressJ101

Howdy y'all. I was once very active in Aeclectic forums years ago. I've been reading for around 32 years, although I've been blessed/cursed with visions, which I've proven (writing things down, and having them come true, but sadly not the winning lottery numbers). In total I think around 230 decks, but sadly a few dozen Chinese fakes, but thanks to an article I learnt to spot them and mostly got my money back from Amazon. My favourite deck is still my oldest, Tarot of the Old Path, recommended to me by a Tarot shop in Watford, England. I'm also developing a Tarot deck with an amazing artist, although it's a slow process. Around 7-8 cards drawn so far, including a rear cov…

Hey all, I'm new here. I created an account to help get an interpretation for a reading that I've done for myself. It looks like I need to have 5 quality posts, so I'm not sure what I can really offer to everyone else. I'm a male in my late 40s, so I can always give you my perspective on things. I like music, sports, and cinema. Love food. I love being a dad, as well. I pretty much love life, but with certain sore spots that I'm looking for answers to. I'm both new to tarot and not new. I had a friend read tarot for me here and there, and that was about 15 years ago. I bought a deck so that I could read for her to pay her back in some gratitude, but I'm definit…

Hi, I'm glad to be here. I was (briefly) a member on Aeclectic years ago, but had only just started to find my footing when it closed. My tarot practice is currently languishing for multiple reasons however, and I hope joining this community will help me revive it!

My name is Kevin and I am a tarot reader and a horary astrologer. I interpret tarot cards using my sequential method, which is intended for use with pattern sheets that are comparable to the Tarot de Marseille patterns. My current favourite pattern sheet is the 1JJ Swiss pattern. I was born in Zimbabwe and I currently reside in South Africa, where I have lived for almost all my life. My interests include, but are not limited to, aviculture, cryptozoology, fishkeeping, folklore, horary astrology, language, mythology, tarot cards, and unexplained phenomena. I look forward to being a part of the present forum and to…

Hello! I come here seeking connection and knowledge with other like minded individuals. I am eager to grow my skills in Tarot and am looking forward to gaining insight from others as well to help advance my experience. I am 23 years old and classify as a witch. I've been practicing since I was 13! Spirituality has always been important to me and has helped me see the world in a magical light as well as embracing my own internal power. I am so glad I found this site and I hope it brings to me what I am looking for.

Hello everyone. I've been reading and studying Tarot off-and-on for probably approaching twenty years now, and while I learned with the RWS system (a mixture of a teacher and the old site learntarot.com) over the last few years I've been slowly turning more and more towards the more fundamental and 'basic' TdM tradition after reading Boethius and becoming more interested in the 'unwritten' history of Tarot in terms of what informed its creation. Outside of Tarot I enjoy a good book and love to do the rounds of the local charity shops. And while I used to be into fitness a few years ago I fell off that wagon really badly and hope to get back on it t…

Hello all! My name is Cariabella, and I have been reading tarot since 2014. My love for the tarot—reading, learning, and teaching—led me down the path of using the cards for shadow work, spiritual development, and awakening. I absolutely love tarot and can never resist buying a new book, a new deck, or enrolling in new courses!

Hello everybody! Very nice to meet you all. I am collecting tarot already for more than 10 years and it became almost a little addiction :) There are always a deck which I would like to add. I am also an illustrator with several created (some pretty popular) tarot decks, which helps me to learn it even better. Hope to gain a new friends and to learn a bit more. Maria

Hi, I have dabbled with tarot for a little bit but never really got into things. I feel it is ready to learn and study tarot. Still deciding on a deck but I do have a few at home naming: The Goddess Tarot by Kriss Waldherr, The Book Of Shadows Tarot Volume 1 and Teal Swan Frequency Tarot. I do think I need a 'regular' deck to start of with but they don't appeal to me. Maybe some of the experienced tarot reader can give me some advice. Anyway, I am happy I found this forum so I can learn.

Hey everyone!! I’m fairly new to my tarot journey, only about 7 months in! I’ve always been interested in tarot but never took to the time to actually pick it up! Once Covid lockdown happened, I was in need of something to learn! I’m a Sagittarius and I’m not typically known for starting something and actually finishing it. I tend to get distracted easily and give up pretty fast, but it’s been 7 months and I’m still hooked on this tarot journey, so I know it’s gonna stick! I’m excited to be here and look forward to learning and working with you all!
