I just found this forum today — it looks very interesting! I’ve been using tarot on and off for about 45 years but not very much at all in the last decade. Something has rekindled my interest, and I’m discovering all sorts of wonderful decks and resources that have appeared since I last looked around. I’m torn between reacquainting myself with my favorite decks and diving into the newer ones! I’m looking forward to participating in this community.

Started my tarot journey last year, through a strange course/series of events. Cruising through Amazon Kindle deals, I found the comp,eye works of H.P. Lovecraft for $1.99. Buying it, was apprehensive since I knew little of it. Buying a photo bio/book, it led me to the Necronomicon, the grimoire that he “created”. Then, it furthermore said that Donald Tyson had created what is considered the best. I started with the Sacred Rose, dabbled with the Thoth, and three years ago switched to the Radiant Wise Spirit and have been loving it - it's re-energised my approach and helped me be much more meticulous in my study approach. I began my journey into readings with I-Ching and rune stones, followed by regular cards and Tarot--with a little pendulum work and some color readings thrown in. Tarot seems to me to be the most powerful system. I started with two different RWS decks--radiant and universal--but recently a friend introduced me to the Alchemical Tarot. Hello, glad to have found this forum!! I got my first Tarot cards from my father when I was around 12 years old. They were the Mythic Tarot set. I have no idea why/how he came about these but let me tell you he thinks all this kind of thing is rubbish!!
