Hey guys, thought I’d try to set myself apart from all the other introductory posts! I’m Mila, in my early 20s based in London looking to develop my tarot skills a little bit more. I’ve shared a little bit on my profile about how tarot came into my life so feel free to read there. I'm always open for discussions and chit chatting with anyone looking to either exchange, gain some more clarity on a situation or just wanting to discuss life. I’m looking forward to being more active on this forum!

Hi everyone! I just learned of the closing of AT, but extremely excited to join others here. So thank you to the awesome person(s) that started this forum. I joined AT many moons ago (2004ish), but fell quiet for many, many years and lost touch with anyone I knew. I feel like a beginner all over again in so many different ways. I hope to meet and talk with all of you very soon! Melissa

Hi everybody! I'm super excited to have found this forum since Aeclectic shut down and Instagram has limited my reach. I'm Claire and I own Black and the Moon. I'd love to do a Q & A sometime about anything and everything (explaining the difference between by decks, what's the deal with Oddities, why I love tuck boxes), so I'll try and find the right section to do that in.

I've loved tarot and oracle decks for a really long time; I have tons of them and I mostly read for myself but I really would like to meet ppl I can practice with and learn more. I wonder if this forum is only about tarot or oracles decks as well? I am looking forward to meeting ppl and discussing tarot with ppl here.

Ooof, the awkwardness of what to say - I've been on an off with tarot for ages - started learning with my mom's mini RWS from the 60's until she surprised me with a full sized version one birthday. Was really into it (and pretty much any form of divination) throughout my teens and then just drifted away from it for no real reason. Then this past January I found myself falling headfirst into it all over again! It's been interesting - and fun! - relearning to read and discovering what things still stick in my mind 20 years later. (And what things really did NOT, lol.) Not sure if I'll fall back out just as quickly and randomly, but I'm going to try and enjoy it …

Hello all! My name is Devon and I'm a nurse in Ohio who is just learning how to read the tarot. I've given readings to my friends but sometimes I feel that I am using a lot of what I already know about them in my readings so I am looking to also have an opportunity to read some strangers which lead me here. I hope to grow my abilities and expand my newest hobby!

Hello I decided to stop lurking and become more active. I've been reading the Tarot for some years, and never cease to be fascinated by these cards and how accurate the readings can be. It's a never ending fascination and a learning experience. I have over 20 decks, most of which I use, though not with the same frequency. I also read oracle cards (but not Lenormand) and started to work with runes (rune cards). Looking forward to interacting and contributing to the forum!

Hi I`m new here and basically here to not mess my life up and get some guidance lol

Hi everyone, I am Shammy. My interest in Tarot started during the pandemic. I was on a soul searching journey. Wanting to know my purpose in this lifetime. Tarot cards then lead me to Astrology and how they are interlinked. I wanted to know the going on of life beyond what the eye can see. I can safely say, Tarot has sent me through a rabbit hole that I have no intention of leaving. I discovered that the occult is where I belong and where I can make a difference in the society that I live in. My dream is to make a deck that will be enjoyed by others. I am scared to share my thoughts and feelings with the world around me because I don…

Hi everyone! I am a beginner tarot reader and I'm trying to learn more and more about it. I'm so glad to find this community since I don't know anyone (other than a close friends and family) who are interested in Tarot...or would let me read for them. How I got started is still confusing to me because the whole idea wasn't a part of my 'life's plan' at all lol, so if anyone is interested in reading... I'll try to keep it short. My family is Thai but I was born and raised in the US. During one of my trips back to Thailand, after 15 years of not being back, I got the chance to meet my uncle. My uncle is a Buddhist monk in Thailand and he does Tarot readings. He does it f…

Hi there! I’m a tarot enthusiast from India. I’ve been reading tarot and oracle cards since almost 15 years, but there’s always so much more to learn with Tarot! I read intuitively, and I love using the cards for storytelling and to create art. I’m looking forward to wandering around the forums, connecting with other tarot enthusiasts, learning some divination tips, and sharing some of my own perspectives on tarot/oracle.

Although I’ve been around the Tarot scene for many years, I haven’t ventured into the realms of online forums before. But this looks like a great place to start! My interest in Tarot is focused on the history of the Rider-Waite-Smith cards and the meanings of the symbols in each image. I’m looking forward to being part of this community. Thanks - Don McLeod

Hello everyone, I first became interested in Tarot many years ago, but abandoned the study. Now I've picked it up again and I hope to discuss it with like-minded people. At the moment I have seven decks: a TdM, the Book of Thoth, two RWS decks, a regular and a pocket-size edition (my first deck), two RWS-inspired decks, the Everyday Tarot and the Dark Mansion Tarot, and finally the Deviant Moon Tarot (unfortunately a poor quality Chinese copy that I got on eBay). My go-to deck is RWS, although I love the playful artwork of the Dark Mansion Tarot, and I find it also gives very good readings. I've started a blog to put down some of my thoughts about the cards…

Hi everyone! I've just found this website and am thrilled to be a part of the community! I've read the cards for 40 years and have used the Hanson Roberts deck for most of that time, but am now trying to find the name of a deck I noticed on Lilly Light Tarot on YouTube. I don't know how to post an image of some of the cards/back of the deck here. Can anyone help? Thank you so much! KellyGal99

Hi, brand new here. Very new to tarot cards, I have had a few readings done on me in the past and currently trying some readings on myself. Where is best to post to ask advice on a tarot spread I did but I am struggling to understand? Thank you

I'm new here, and just want to say Hello! I took a long break from reading Tarot, and only just returned. I've worked on reading the Tarot de Marseille, but now discovered I enjoy The Petite Lenormand. When I discovered the Lenormand forum here was active, I decided to sign up and read and eventually participate. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi everyone. I am from South East Asia. I am currently enrolled in a PhD program and interested in using the Tarot as a modality to understand and aid reflective practices in psychological session. Since I am new to this whole idea of Tarot cards, I am hoping this forum would be a great help! Can't wait to connect!

Hello guys! So, I’m new here and new to tarot as well. I've always been curious about it, and lately this curiosity developed and I decided to buy a deck and start learning. I just bought my first deck about two weeks ago and I am still starting to get acquainted with the cards. I find it really difficult, but I think it could be a good way of developing my intuition, which I have a hard time trusting. I hope it gets easier with time, lol. I am very happy to have found this forum as I think it will be a great place for learning and sharing experiences! Looking forward to it! Thank you for accepting me here!

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I signed up about two weeks ago, but I was so busy with my daily. So finally I'm here! It feels great to finally join in a community with Tarot readers from all sides of the world. Anyway, I started with Tarot 2 years ago and am leaning to be a pro reader. It's still a very longggggg way to go for me, but I'll try my best. I also do Lenormand and Oracle reading, but I don't do so good with the Oracle yet. I mostly use Children of Litha and Synesthesia Tarot deck to read for clients, and Golden Thread for myself. For now, I'm trying to learn deeper knowledge of Tarot image and symbols. With Psychology as my major, these things sure he…

Nice to meet yall. I'm just here for expanding my tarot knowledge as well as getting an outside eye on my own readings so that way I don't get a foggy eye from being biased. Also here to find new spreads. Call me TV if you want lol

I'm really bad at introductions so I'm sorry in advance for the awkwardness! I'm really into psychology, philosophy and mysticism. When I discovered tarot it was love at first sight and since then, I've been using the cards consistently both for myself and for whoever would ask. But I'm introverted and really shy IRL so I don't have many people with whom I can discuss tarot at a larger scale, so here I am. It's my first time registering for a forum so I'm as green as it gets. I already have a good collection of decks. I'd like to make my own deck at some point so I draw and draw to get myself to a level where I actually like my art. I like to experiment with dif…
