HI. I'm new here. I have been collecting/reading since '86 where my mom gifted me a card reading for my 15th bday. I love ALL RWS & clones. BTW, I need a replacement 5 of Swords from a late edition Blue Box RWS (Conway St London copyright is on it) deck bc my new puppy chihuahua chewed it. I'll trade a deck for just the replacement card! I'm self-taught but read Pollack, Greer, Sharman-Burke eg. I love art so all tarot is amazing. So, when I first saw the Crowleyin'86 I was blown away. Nice to meet you all

Hello fellow card hoarders! My name is Mort and i live in England with my sister, we create electroformed crystal jewellery, art and writing together and often do markets in Glastonbury under our name Old Forest Forge! I thought it was about time to introduce myself properly and make my first post here because i have recently completed my first 33 paintings that i made for an Oracle Deck. My sister and i created a kickstarter that went live yesterday - and it looks like we are well on our way to getting the funding to have this made. Heart, spirit and soul have been put into it and i really feel like it is a worthy addition to the already magnificent Oracle wor…

Hi everyone! I was just looking up images of the different cards for two decks I'm trying to choose between buying later (for my wallet's sale, I probably shouldn't buy both 😭) in order to decide via art styles when I fell down a rabbit-hole and discovered Aecletic Tarot Forum... and then subsequently found out it's no longer active. As a result, I am here. I've been obsessed with Tarot and Oracle decks, divination, and symbolism for a long time - probably since I was about 12. I own way too many decks and continue to acquire more as I fall in love with different art styles and vibes associated with different decks. Honestly, I don't remember how many decks I …

Hi Everyone, I have been sorely missing for about 6 weeks now. Sooooooo much has happened. Quick update. I moved on June 2nd and then left for Paris June 4th. Got back on the 12th. While I was in Paris, my Kickstarter got funded! Since I have been back I have been unpacking, have done 2 art shows with my jewelry, and have been working on all the stuff you have to do when you have a successful Kickstarter. Big thanks to those of you who supported me in this. Anyway, I missed being in the loop here, but I feel like I have barely kept my head above water. I will be playing some catch up with the group over the next couple of weeks. :) <3

Hi all :) I signed up a while ago but haven't ever posted--pretty normal for me, since I'm typically more of a lurker (14 years on Aeclectic Tarot & only ~360 posts to show for it!)...although I really would like to participate more frequently. Me & tarot: got my first deck when I was 12 or 13 (both of my parents had an interest in tarot going back to before I was born), been interested in it since, involvement waxes & wanes, sometimes I'm doing readings for myself daily for months, sometimes it's only seasonal/birthday/special spreads & as needed. I've collected a few decks over the years, maybe 50ish? Although my deck purchasing has slowed down lately…

My name is James, but I also go by Jams. Recently, I learned that Tarot readings exist, and have been interested in how it work. I find the entire concept fascinating, especially in how it can be utilized as a tool for self reflection. I don't own any decks, though I have just ordered the Golden Thread deck not too long ago, so that should change soon. I hope to understand the Tarot better during my stay, and hope to get along with you all in the process!

Hi everyone! I am new to this site and to tarot. I've always been intuitive, but am now at a place in my life where I have time to learn tarot and other divination methods. I am happy to have discovered this group and look forward to learning from all of you while being part of a community!

Hi, I'm a 47 year old newbie! Married (just clocked 25 years!), mum and living in Suffolk. I have always harboured the desire to learn Tarot, but never acted on it until I lost my baby sister this year. Her loss has inspired me to live my life to the fullest, and that includes embracing my interests and things that feel right for me. I currently only read for myself as I'm still so new to it. I'm going with the flow and seeing where it all takes me, which is exciting and scary at the same time. I know I have so much to learn, so brace yourselves for lots of questions! I'm looking forward to meeting new people on this adventure too. ❤

Hello Tarot reader community, I am prettty much new to tarot so I hope that you can help enlighten me with your tarot wisdom. I asked the question what are my friends viewing me as a person and I got the flowing card: High Priestess, The Chariot, 6 of swords and The Emperor. I am new to tarot so I am still struggling with reading combination of cards. I hope you can help me with my question. Thank you and much love!!!

Thank you all for accepting me into this group. I am a native New Yorker, but my entire family is of Cuban and Spanish decent from Spain, and I was the only one born in the USA. My family are culturally grounded in occultism, so I was naturally immersed as well. I started studying Anthroposophy when I was 9, and naturally gravitated to the Tarot by 15 and have been studying ever since. I do enjoy participating in readings and tried Facebook but boy oh boy! That is wall to wall scamming and that's a shame. I also enjoy discussing history as it pertains to occultism and the Tarot as well. Again, thank you and cheers!

Hi there :) I just joined up today, I hope you're all doing well :) I only started reading Tarot a few months ago, but so far they've been really interesting and helpful (if at times a little disconcerting)! I started with the cards because I have what my my grandma called kenning (sort of a radio wave? It's hard to explain, but basically, sometimes I know things I shouldn't or couldn't, but mostly it's useless stuff or jumbled. It's an Irish thing ::) ) and I though they might help organise it all - and so far it's really helped, though I sometimes need some help understanding what I'm pulling through. My immediate family is HUGELY sceptical of anything vaguely …

Hi, I am new to this page. Maybe a few remember me from Aeclectic Tarot or the Tarot Collectors Forum. I live in Berlin-Germany. I am more a deck collector than a reader. I rarely read for other people, I mostly use the cards as an assistance for contemplation. I am interested in the history of tarot and in it's connection with alchemy. I am looking forward to participate in the forum. Eno

Hello I got my first deck in the late '90's, but, only recently started serious practice. I got a couple of Mary K Greer's books I have lots of big problems I feel hopeless about. I'm 55. I have attracted a lot of negativity into my life, and my hope, right now, is safety, freedom and learning. I am so glad I found this large Internet forum, given that another one is now not in use, so I could not join, maybe members have come on here, as well as newbies like me.

Hallo! I'm Woland, I'm new here but was a lurker on Aeclectic back in the day, and am looking forward to getting back into community. My grandmother taught me to read playing cards when I was in primary school, and I learnt tarot from my aunty not long later, but I've never made a living from it or anything like that. My favourite deck is the Thomson Leng, which has been my go-to reading deck since 2002. Lately I've taken to collecting old decks, and to start to teach myself how to read Kipperkarten and Zigeunerwahrsagekarten and similar systems, after I picked up a really strange 32-card German deck that I'm trying to find out more ab…

Hello, and nice to meet you all! I have used Tarot for a number of years already, but I only now have started to seriously study it. I have a number of books as my starting point. I am interested in the qabalistic background for the tarot. I also have a rather exotic deck in the RWS tradition. I used to own a RWS deck but I left it at my mom's house. I cannot think of anything more to say about me right now, only that this looks like a nice and warm community, and I am grateful that there is an old-school forum for this practice, the adherents of which are scattered making it hard to discuss on the sites I frequent. I look forward to learning from you…

Hi! My name's Noella. I've been fascinated with tarot cards since I was a teenager. Since then I've collected more than a dozen decks, and have several tarot deck apps on my phone I rotate between. Other than the True Black tarot on order I'm not allowed another deck for a very, very long time. I'm equally in love with the symbolism/internal journey they evoke as well as the art itself - I get so excited when I see a great artist's interpretation of all 78 cards. Despite my love of them I never really discuss them or do reading exchanges with others, and I'd love to change that(and simply discuss them and everything related) My favorite decks are Shadowscapes, …

Hi everyone I’m so glad that I found this page. I’m Tarotlady777 from the Netherlands and currently watching “The Enfield Haunting” while I shuffle my favorite tarot deck 😉 I’m new to this Forum and still trying to figure out how it works (I normally use Facebook but it gets a little overwhelming sometimes). Wishing you all a lovely evening/day 🦋
