Introductions

Hello everyone! I’m relatively new to tarot. I started exploring it about a year and a half ago but I’m ready to learn more. I’m so glad I found this forum and can’t wait to meet people. I’m from Canada and my favourite deck right now is the Witches Tarot.

Well it’s currently morning in New Zealand 🙂 I’m a philosopher (I did my doctorate in Ethics) and my interest in Tarot is primarily the philosophy behind the cards (those ‘deep dive’ into a single card are fascinating!). I’n also (unsurprisingly) interested in the ethics of Tarot reading (I’ve noted a lot of sites seem to confuse ethics with a codified set of rules) looking forward to some interesting discussions and hoping my slant adds something to the forums. Thank you for the opportunity to meet and share with folks with common interest of Tarot, I have been interested in the Tarot for many years but it seems I would pick the deck up, start to learn and then life would happen. Now at a place where they are again calling to me and wanting to learn and explore more.

Hello, I'm Yves, nice to meet y'all and start participating in this forum! I've read tarot on and off for a few years, but now I'm trying to delve into it as a tool for internal understanding. Getting "negative" cards used to terrify me and discourage me-- but I've been learning to integrate these in my growth and understanding and am hoping to learn more! I use the Aquarian tarot, but am also really interested in learning from the varying imagery of other decks and systems in the future too. I'm excited to get posting here! Have a great day!

Hi Krissy here I'm fairly new to tarot cards and hoping to pick up some tips on interpretation. Currently I'm working with the Green Witch cards by Ann Moura but I bought it without the booklet which is a bit annoying so have found a you tuber giving interpretations but I guess it might be good to have my own first and see if it's similar?? Anyway look forward to more posts and learning here!

I haven't been consistent with it over the last 3 years or so, but still love tarot and all things herb, garden or neo-shamanic wisdom. I also love Jane Roberts and incorporate psychometry into my my daily life. I tend to get sick and sometimes crazy if I go over board though. I'm hoping to get back into my spiritual practice. Hi, I'm a complete novice but have been enjoying reading lots of bits and pieces on this forum. I'm in the UK and I bought my deck about 15 years ago when I was at university just because I liked the look of it but never did anything with it. I have just got it out again, going through some difficult times and wanted something to give me a bit of a focus and calmness to start my day. I am doing a card a day to help me understand the cards better and I am really enjoying it so far 🙂

Hello fellow tarotites! I am starwind. I found a beautiful Aquarian deck when I was 14 that my deceased grandmother bought my father in the 1970’s, which he never opened. They were destined for me! I am 36 now and still have yet to memorize the cards. More about me - I am a high school art teacher, yoga instructor and reiki master. I am beginning to blossom as a medium. Hello, it has been over a decade since I used forums but they are a great way to find community online. I think there's something special about forums that social media can not really replicate. I read tarot and oracle, my favorite teas are ginger, and chamomile. I also really like oolong, jasmine, and green tea. Red raspberry tea with a squeeze of tangelo and a little honey is also pretty delicious for day time tea drinking. Actually, I think I might just like all teas... Thank you for having me! 🙂

I put down the tarot cards for a long while, and now I want to pick them up again. I have time. I currently do Angle and Oracle Readings but have been wanting to learn the Tarot for sometime now. I will admit that I've found learning Tarot to be a bit overwhelming. Hi everyone! I've been into spirituality for a long time but only recently decided to get into Tarot. The last couple of readings I've done have been pretty spot on but I do find it hard to make sense of what the cards mean unless I google them, and even then it's a bit confusing.
