I read about the other tarot forum being shut down on reddit. I registered on AT rather recently but always was a lurker and not a poster. I've been interested in tarot for quite some time now. I wouldn't say I am a tarot reader or psychic, but I do enjoy it as a hobby. I'm looking forward to interacting with all of you on here. Thank you for having me.

Thanks Trogan for the info about this site. SO glad to see so many At'ers already here. I don't Post a great deal, but I love all the knowledge and insights. I like the little flower icons here, makes it feel all homey and cozy.

Another Aeclectic Tarot expat here. For those who don't know me, I'm in Northern Arizona. I work as a Police Dispatcher at a small department and have been doing so for over 30 years. I started Tarot back in about 1991 or 1992. I had joined A.T. in 2002, so you'll have seen my ramblings there as well. Glad to be here!

I was thinking of getting back into Tarot last month since I've been out of practice for years, and then I found out on Facebook that the Aeclectic forums are closing. :'( My user-name there was Sharysa as well, so if any of my now-distant Tarot buddies are here under different names, please feel free to come out of the woodwork. As unfortunate as this is, it might get me into actually reading Tarot again.

Hello there! I've signed up to few new forums and this one looks pretty cool. I'm actually quite happy to flit around and post on several forums and i'll definitely spend some time here. It was a pain to learn the Aeclectic forum was closing down just as I was seriously considering professional tarot reading part time - along with being an Occupational Therapist. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up some great tips from the wonderful people here (and on the other forums too). Looking forward to some great conversations!

Thank you, Littlefang, for having this site! I guess I've been studying Tarot off and on for some 35 years. I figure I know just enough to be dangerous. I used to read at small renfairs but it's been a long while now, and I'm notorious for getting stage fright. I sometimes read for family and friends, but I do wish I had the nerve to go public again, this time for an actual sideline. But at my age (70), who knows?
