Hello! I've been studying my tarot deck as well as keeping a tarot journal, this is something that works really well for me and gives me my own place to reflect. But as I've been studying I've come up with a couple questions. First: My decks court arcana consists of Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princess's, and not the traditional Page and Knight. I am wondering if Page is equal to Princess and Knight is equal to Prince, but if not, what is the difference? Second: Say I am doing a reading for myself and after I have layed out the cards and seen them, realized I may not be in the mind set for it. Have you guys ever done a reading in a public space? (For example, a cafe, library, a table in the park, etc) Any place where there usually wouldn’t be anything like tarot or occult things? Was the energy different? Did you feel it affected your reading? Or do you bring your tarot out to the outside world at all? (Excluding tarot/occult shops) I feel like reading outside connects me to the elements more. But I’ve never even taken out my cards in public yet. What are you guys’ experiences?

I have met a new friend who is into different things such as tarot. I did her first reading on her and she seemed to love it. We have decided to work on our spirituality and work on developing our gifts. I want to gift her a tarot deck. I want to get her the raider wait one so she can learn the symbolism. I don’t get payed for another couple weeks. Can I let her use my deck until I get hers?? As long as I cleanse it and she does when she uses it? I have other decks that I currently use. It is the only card I know like the back of my hand and one I identify with on a personal level. I am a scorpio rising and venus so transformation is definitely my thing. Though I like it because I know it, I hate the after math of it. It is usually accompanied by hurt or loss as that is when I have to transform the situation and myself. I have to rebuild from the beginning, did I mention I had scorpio placements? I HATE letting go lol

Tarot learning question! So I know the meanings of most of the tarot cards by now (not super well though). I’d say I’m a visual learner. A challenge that I’ve encountered so far is that when people say, for example, four of cups, or any cards with a number in the minor arcana, it doesn’t mean anything to me. But when I look at a card image, I usually immediately know what the card means. Is this okay for learning tarot? Should I try to learn what the card means just by the name? Just looking for some advice.

Not sure if this the proper place to ask this question. Beginner here. Can you use the tarot for insight into another person? For example, I wanted to see what the cards would show if I asked about my mother. I was vague in the question. The cards I pulled don't represent her at all, but wondering if the cards actually reflected what I needed to relate to my mother. Just curious.

Both of women are happy, but they are happy more as single/alone, and at some point they are (over)protected from Cat/Eagle?

Hello! I hope that this is the right place to post something like this, but does anyone have any advice on pursuing tarot as more than a hobby? This is by no means advertisement for a buisness, but more so for tips and tricks for people who are branching out in their tarot reading adventures! I am no where near this point at all, but I wanted to ask somethings for people who sell tarot services. Specifically ones who sell online! I'm sorry, but I see this card not as "happy" card but as "I worked hard for get all of these cups, and I won't allow to go everyone inside". You can see that guy and his hands and happy face. He is happy with his stuff and he protect his cups.

Hi i had an old tarot deck which was so accurate . I used to keep clear quartz on it . And also kept in full moon light . When I shuffle it accurate cards comes automatically . Now the cards i have they are not tuned to my energy . I'm having raider white card now.... Before I had dead girl tarot card. any recommendations ? Blessings

see posts #4 and #5 for up to date lists Rather than carry a big box of a dozen or more decks when we travel for months, I'm creating a Rogue Deck. To carry one deck with cards from 78 different decks. Printed out so they are all the same size, cohesive and easy to shuffle. Except I have 46 decks, leaving me short 32 cards. This is what a printed out sheet looks like I have a system for cutting so they all come out the same size.

Hello all! I have ADHD (among other things) and I find that while I prefer to do Tarot at night, by the time I feel "ready" to do readings, my ADHD medicine has worn off and I have a very hard time focussing on the reading itself, which tends to put me all over the place. I'm not one for pomp and circumstance, but I do try to show respect to my craft and my patron, Kuan Yin. I end up feeling guilty every time I get distracted trying to do a reading, but it's honestly something I can't help very much. Hi dear fellow tarot readers, I have been using the tarot for a long time now and it really helps me to develop insights about myself and how I relate to others. Lately I have been noticing a trend and would like to hear your views on this. The tarot seems to be very accurate when my mind is empty and I own my feelings. I mean with that very often the cards screams at me "Don't be crazy"/"I guess/believe (hierophant) it's hard for him (ten of wands) not look at you (two of swords). Have you wondered about it? I think some energy may be like a person at you and use the cards just only as one or a few word(s) in read.
