Do you think readings made on Youtube (pick a pile readings) are accurate? I can see there's quite a lot videos done for it. Sent from my RNE-L22 using Tapatalk

So I was shuffling my new oracle deck today and a card fell out from it? Does this card have a significance for me? I had read somewhere that cards that drop from the deck while shuffling carry a message with them for the reader...not sure if it is true? Please help understand this

Hi All, I'm in this forum for the first time. I have been in the tarot topic for over half a year now. When I first received my tarot reading - I did not like it - I changed the path of my life, thoughts and I started meditation, visualisations and so on. After 3-4 months, I had another readings and it seemed that i changed my "former destiny". I did not ask the same questions, but yes - I was talking about the same topic, but in close cooperation with the tarot card readers who used different cards and we did not ask the same questions. I talked to 3 people or even 4. The results they gave were practically the same and they gave almost the same time for the fulfillme…

So I’ve never tried asking a sex question but I’m totally new to it with tarot’s. I asked the question of how this guy feels having sex with me or something along those lines. I pulled these cards and in this order left to right : nine of Wands reversed. Two of Wands reversed. 10 of pentacles. So at first I was like dang does he find this boring or lame? But that wouldn’t make sense because we both seem so open minded to new things and I’ve had him try a lot of new things. It was the 10 of pentacles that I liked to see though as it represents a content couple, wisdom maybe showing intellectual connection, the baby maybe seen as more than just some random sex thing but mor…

first of all let me share that it was hardly anyone there for except for clients the readers who got bookings. :'( :( I did manage to do 4 readings , two for a healer, one for a medium, and one for their friend. but before I get to those.. the exchange of the healers since there was no books for many of the healers.. (we had pranic healing, energy healing, huna kane healing, tibetian bowl healing, reiki healing ) .. about 130.. one of them went to the other and said "I got no client can I get a smoosh ).. and I watched oh that is nice.. then all of the sudden, the pranic healer was getting huna kane,, the other haler was getting tibetian bowled, the hu…

Hello all, Not sure if this post fits here. I have noticed that when I go on a roll of multiple draws or questions I start getting physically tired. Is this a normal occurrence? Is there a way to reduce the effects? Thanks in advance!

Hi you guys, I use Rider Waite Tarot. I am REALLY unhappy with the current career path i have chosen (i am still in university, but internships showed me it was the wrong choice). I am looking for something new for ages now. I found a vocational training option that i believe would suit me very well. And i pulled one card. I asked if this was a good option. I pulled the three of wands reversed. I really want to know what to do. So that i can take active steps, applying etc!

I hope I'm posting to the right place! I have been wondering lately about the position on the Celtic Cross, the external influences, because of a particular card I got so I have decided to open a thread about it and see what you think. So all these years I’ve been reading this position as what is the tone of the environment that affects you, who or what is affecting you. Now with the Minor Arcana I never found myself to wonder, for the Majors, some can be tricky so I listed the ones I think of them as abstract, vague or being as “Divine interference” I’d be happy to hear your ideas and addings 🙂 0 The Fool - i see it as an…

This may seem like a straightforward question but I would like to look at the deeper levels...sorry in advance for a long description! I guess I can give an example here. I remember my first reading was 3 years ago. I wasnt inclined towards tarot back then, than I am today and only did like two readings with two different professionals in 2021. I remember both the readings telling me that I will meet a soulmate in 2023. Of course, I did not know any cards back then so I dont know what card came up at what placement. After that, I dropped it. 2 years later, in the start of 2023, I went back to those readers to do another reading. I got a bit cocky …

Hello everyone I just thought I'd share some insights I had about the 8 of Swords. I was doing a reading for myself, using my Dealing With Difficult Relatives at Thanksgiving spread. For the last position, "a way to decompress and de-stress when it's all over", I got the 8 of Swords. That card didn't make a whole lot of sense in a position about de-stressing, so I had to really think about it a bit. To get some kind of positive answer from this card, I had to look at its imagery (I was using the Hanson-Roberts deck, which is fairly similar to the RWS). I thought about the woman being blindfolded, and how that could possibly be a good thing. I realized that blin…

We've all heard of reading the future, but has anyone delved into reading about the past? Not exactly reading about past lives, more like readings about events that happened a decade ago, or a hundred years ago. I would be interested if anyone can link me to any articles or texts about the topic. It doesn't seem like a lot of people have an interest in the past, other than their own past lives. And I'm not interested in finding anything specific in the past myself, just curious about the topic.

hey guys, hope you are all doing fine. i have a question. how can i explain how tarot works to my clients? 🤔 i don't do the "whats is my future" type readings, i do more like the guidance readings. but i don't know how to say it to them, because they seem to misinterpret and they dont get me... and they think the guidance type of readings dont work at all. so i plan on puting an introduction on my readings page so that people stop asking me about their future lol what can i write in that intro? thanks 🙈 Spoiler

Hi all, I was recently reading through the forum and was struck by an incredibly apt distinction user @katrinka brought up in another thread about Tarot being used more in modern times for psychological reading rather than predictive. I realized that I've been practicing much more in last while with psychological insight and introspective Tarot readings for myself, and I've gotten out of practice working with the cards in a predictive sense. I'd really love to work with predictive readings, but I think I've been a little unconsciously daunted by the idea of it for many months. I've taken some hits to my confidence this year that have resulted in me being frightened of exe…

I copied and pasted what I wrote in my Journal this morning, Today's card is the Four of Wands ~ The card indicates an early celebration of some sort. We have two ladies holding up flowers in the air. Yesterday I called a local senior center located near me and asked them if they would like to have a tarot reader (me) read & entertain their group. The person I talked to told me that they were currently doing a music program, but she would give my number to the president which I gave her. She also told me that if I was entertaining that they network with all the senior centers in the area that I could do ALL the senior centers in the area. COOL> …

Hello everybody! I am new here :). In the last few months I have been getting into tarot. So I bought a bunch of books and now I am feeling overwhelmed because I don't know how to start :( :( :(. I bought the following books: * Ultimate Guide to Tarot Meanings- Brigit Esselmont *Ultimate Guide to Tarot by Liz Dean * Tarot Unlocking the Arcana- Angelo Nasios * Fortune Telling with Tarot by Sasha Fenton * Tarot Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis * I also bought keyword sheets from etsy I really made sure to buy the best books for me but the thing is that just by flipping through them I can already tell that they differ in meanings. Also, some of them have reall…

I've been getting a strong urge to purchase a deck for one of my cousins lately. Whenever I do a personal reading, whenever I'm browsing new decks for myself, sometimes just randomly. I think the universe is prompting me to get her started on her journey. Any suggestions of affordable decks for a young female (early 20s)? I want to get her a visually appealing deck, but I also don't have a ton of money to spend. Preferably a deck under $40. I would also be open to oracle decks. And any other tips for gifting a deck, as I've never done it before? Should I cleanse it for her beforehand? Or just leave it be. Thanks! Bee

I was just wondering how many of you have dealt with doubt re: your metaphysical pursuits? Spiritual things have always been a big part of my life, but there’ve been so many times I’ve stopped myself with doubt...then keep coming back. Some of my happiest times have been when I’ve embraced things—when I was into astrology as a kid, when I read palms in my 20’s...yet there’s a scientific side of me that opposes all this and knows a lot of the world has valid reasons to doubt it, too. Another striking time came when I’d gone back to tarot in my 30’s and a lady came to me for a reading, specifically, she wanted to know if she should commit suicide following the painful …

Discussion: who reads fully clear and sober? Who prefers a bit of alcohol or other indulgence? Old pic here with a shot of spiced rum for the spirits. I no longer drink or even smoke nicotine, and my sessions are more satisfying than ever before. Everyone is different, however, so share what works for you. Please don't mention things that are illegal let's keep this thread unlocked.

Hi Friends! Quite a long time ago, I received The Sacred Rose deck as a gift. I loved reading from it, and did for many years. Then one day I was shuffling the cards and just felt like something was missing. Sure enough, I counted my cards and the deck was one short of being complete. So I lost a card somewhere. I never recovered it and haven't used the deck since. But when I was looking for another deck a few days ago, I came across TSR again and I felt a genuine yearning and even a little sadness. I started looking on EBAY to see if I could find any lots of loose cards or someone who had that one replacement card for my deck. My question is: Do you think energe…

I'm sure a lot of you have the amazing skills to make your own bags - and I envy that a little, because that seems a wonderful way to connect to your deck - but alas, I have no such abilities, and thus must shop. So for those of you who buy your tarot bags - where do you get them from? I'm currently looking for a bag for my Numinous and Next World decks (the latter is 4'' x 6'', so the default-sized bags are too small), and I've been browsing Etsy for days, but while there's a few I'm eyeing for the Numinous, I haven't found anything I like for the Next World yet. I was wondering where else I could look? Up until now I've always used drawstring pouches, but I've see…

Have you ever doubted your reading? Like, the answer you are always getting from the cards seems to be too good to be true (the question is not like getting a gold mansion or something far-fetched like that)? It is like your intuition is agreeing with the cards, but your brain says "hey be realistic! You know that ain't gonna happen." Sent from my RNE-L22 using Tapatalk

today I pulled the 4 of chalices and the little book covers the fours as one group, Building. The 4 of cups is the Hollow Void. Now how interesting is that! Little thothy, little rwsy, little golden dawnie... I'm asking because I am not quite clear about the deck companion book. The hard cover is print on demand and my eyes are not up to standard books. this is what it's page says: https://benebellwen.com/spirit-keepers-tarot/the-book-of-maps/ "However, the digital files are delivered to your e-mail inbox, not to your e-reader. Thus, you will need to go through the extra step yourself downloading the file, then uploading it to your e-reader. The file is not dir…

i'm new to Tarot but not fully new. i started studying them a year or so ago, and stopped. now i'm back to it, and i'm currently writing down explanations of the cards, from sources on the internet, AND in my own words a bit, and all that i'm curious though, when i become more experienced, and know the definitions of each card off heart, how often then will i still look at the notes of mine, or books (i own 2 books on them), or internet, or feel like i need to at all. any experienced people on Tarot here that still look at notes? if so, how often do you? and maybe shed some light on why you would look up more into the meanings of the cards, ev…
