As per the title. I'm feeling Tower today ... letting go of a dream. Destruction of a foundation. Tearing down something I tried to build. Changes. Ketu entering my H4 and going to transit my Moon soon. Yet no Tower. I'm stalked by other cards. I guess maybe the situation isn't as extreme ... like the other stalker cards are important issues and my own personal tower feeling is just overly dramatic by comparison. I dunno. I sometimes get clients who read for themselves and they want to know why they got Tower and 10 swords and I didn't. With such a client I say, it's not as bad as you fear. These cards show it's not so very…

Hello! I consider the Two of Cups and the Lovers to have very similar energies: romantic, partnerships, yin/yang duality. The Lovers has more of an element of choice to it, but otherwise they seem the same. Lately the Two of Cups and the Lovers have been haunting me. I draw them in a lot of spreads and they fall out at me when I'm shuffling. It doesn't matter what deck I use. It just keeps happening and has been going on for a few months now. I'm trying to figure out what they mean as I don't have a romantic interest and am not exactly open to the possibility at this time. They usually fall out together, so I wonder what it could mean. Any opinions in this cont…

on the now defunct AT tarot forum there were pages and pages to the thread "something I never noticed before" Or similar? where the cards were blown up and fine combed. I remember the Death card someone pointed out there is an arrow on the foot that points to the cave on the bank. I think it is just part of a spur, but Waite put tons of symbology into his vision for the paintings and many times a cigar isn't just a cigar. A lot of the reworked from the original have kind of smoothed over and cleaned up the cards without realizing they are taking away from the thought. does anyone remember it, and can you help me find it? I know, needle in a haystack, but it was s…

Do you use multiple decks in a single reading. How often do you do this, and for what types of readings? Do you have go-to spreads that you use for these combos? What deck combinations do you prefer? Novices are understandably reluctant to do this, but some pros like to include a few oracle cards in their Tarot readings. Some think that this gives some depth to their interpretations, while others think that it only distracts from the main message that your guides, deepest self, etc wish to tell you. They do look so good on a spread tho, especially if the aesthetics of the decks match.

Hello, TT&M! Today, a close friend of mine had messaged me that he had found a little shop with spirituality-related items in his city, and was surprised to see a decent assortment of Tarot and oracle decks on display there (decent for similar shops in that particular city, but still a very joyous occasion). Among these was a Circle of Life Tarot deck, the main quirk of which is it's circular cards (I've looked it up on the Internet and also found a similar deck, Daughters of the Moon). As I've previously taught him my approach to Tarot, my friend though that I would be interested to know about these decks, as the shape of the cards allows them to hav…

Hey, I am new in this forum, would be nice if you can help me, because I am kinda afraid and confused. I`ve always been drawn to tarot, gemstones and white as well as dark magical things. But everytime I start getting a little bit more into it I get this weird feeling. My english is not good enough to explain it the right way... Just yesterday I tried another run oracle and as soon as I touched the stones the feelings came back. I tried to explain it to myself that it is imagination something psycholigic, but as older as I grow the more I am sure about it being no imagination. I am not the little girl anymore, imagine fairies and imagine seeing aura. So, you se…

Hi everyone just a quick one how do you keep your cards? In a silk cloth, or wooden box or a material pouch, what’s best please?

Hello tarot lovers! Thanks for the add. 1. How do you feel about reading cards that fall, jump, fly or drop when shuffling? Do you strictly deal your cards? 2. If a card falls horizontally, how do you read it, upright or reversed? 3. Are there any good books or references you recommend for memorizing the meanings of cards (i.e., the Knights all mean youthfulness, the Aces new beginnings, etc.) 4. What are your favorite basic spreads? Or do you generally pull a card a day? 💫 Love and light to you Starwind

If you have a lot of pentacles and rods in your leggings, and this is about, for example, where you would meet a new man or woman who might become your new lover, could this possibly mean it at work? I once read somewhere online that pentacles describe work environment, but is that really the case? And what about rods?

So today I decided that I was gonna do a spicy reading for myself, I did the reading and I got some of my own thoughts on them but I was wondering what other people thought. Thanks🙂

I am intrigued, what's your reading process? From getting ready, to shuffling, to working on the cards. Do you have any rituals or methods you always do? Are there some parts that are personally important when you work on your readings?

I subscribe to Lisa Boswells newsletter as I am a fan of her site Divination & Fortunetelling. She has lots of free resources on tarot, lenormand and other divinatory systems. She has also held free internet workshops in the past, which I have always tried to attend. Now she is launching something completely new (as of today the 27th). She calls it the "Divination Maximiser" and its a course that is aimed at improving psychic abilities and divinatory skills. So it is not only useful for tarot readers but for any type of divinatory practices (and it will probably be beneficial to mediums as well). I don't know anything about prices just yet (she is launching th…

This card has come up for me a couple times recently. From the Santa Muerte tarot, 8 of cups. I would be interested in knowing what others see in this image. When I think of 8 of cups I usually think of a person making a decision and overcoming the confusion in the 7 of cups. But she almost looks to me like she’s still thinking. Still uncertain. And the way she’s got some of the water (what I see as her emotions) spilling out but only barely... most of them are still contained. Almost like she’s just barely able to keep her emotions in control while she still ruminates over whatever is bothering her heart. Would love to know what others see or opinions. Thank…

It is happening to me more and more often that a single card, within a reading, a spread, communicates to me more than a single meaning. for example, (I use Sarasvati cards), the moon, as potential negative meanings, has: illusions; utopia; betrayal; negative emotions; wandering; rudeness; obsessions; self sabotage; laziness; stupidity; instability; psychological issues, psychological problems; problems with ancestors; loss of energy; problems on a magical level; emptying; the end of something; being the victim of a curse; it would seem that in a…

A daily three card spread. A TdM deck. The question, simple, What will happen today? Card one, What is the theme of my day? Ace of Swords. Then card two, Q= what is hidden? High Preistess. (Popes) Card three Q: Advice, Hierophant (Pope) They are facing each other in the spread. With the Popes and all she represents, mainly with things being unclear, Isolating herself to clear her busy mind and open for suggestions, under the What is hidden number two position, also being number two with all its meanings, to have the Pope laid at position three for Advice. With all his intuition and reasoning, representing the genius of good, looking the Popes right back in the e…

Does anyone have any idea of the representation of what the Pyramids of Giza are in these two cards? The Pictoral Key... just mentions them for the Knight how he's passing the "mounds or pyramids". They are obviously pyramids, aligned exactly the way they are in Egypt. They stand on opposite sides of them, or the knight is on his horse. I know there is the Egyptian connection to tarot. These aren't talked about at all anywhere and there's got to be a reason for them. If anyone has any opinion or even a book to enlighten me with it would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, So I've been studying tarot for less than a year, and I wanted to share my experiences to see if it makes sense. I'm in between books learning tarot, numerology and others. What I try to read is more about information, and not looking for the answers such as "quick and fast methods...," because I feel I need to work for some of my answers and I believe that tarot is no exception. So I read the stories behind each tarot card as a platform (Raider deck) and grew from there. At that point, I would use my feelings (a lot) to read what the cards are saying. This is where I would like to share my process and get your opinion on this. When dr…

Hello, I'm new to everything related to tarot. I need help. I received a very uosetting reading with predictions far in the future. I don't want to become a prisoner of this reading! I believe in free will. Could you tell me, is the reader wrong in this case? She said I will be lonely and unloved. I checked the meaning of cards and the were positive. There was for example magician, 2 of cups and later she took, 6 of cups, 3 of cups, queen of pentacles, knight of cups and King of cups. There was also devil followed by death. I don't have a feeling that those cards are speaking of loneliness. I'm terrified by this reading. She didn't g…

My loves, I know a lot of us here keep tarot journals (I'll be starting one myself soon), but does anyone else bullet journal? I keep one as a cross between a planner and a journal, though not much goes on in my life that requires much planning so it's more like a daily journal with a calendar spread at the beginning of each month. Since it's foremost a journal, I don't go hardcore with all the little task trackers that you see online, though I do like adding a small habit tracker to my weekly spreads. I used to utilize montly mood and sleep trackers which were fun to look at but became tedious to set up every month, and lately I like to keep things much more simple and f…

I'd be interested to know how many of you use the meanings of numbers, 1 through 10, in interpreting your cards. Here, I'm thinking primarily of the minor arcana pips, of course. But if number meanings play a part in your interpretation of your majors or court cards, I'd like to hear about that too. Oh, and if you use a particular book, or other source for the meaning of numbers, please tell what it is. I do use the meaning of numbers in conjunction with the suits when considering the pip cards. I used to have it all written down, with source references, etc. But that was in years past. I am presently re-compiling that information, and re-reading the books. My p…
