I noticed a while back that we all have little category titles like "TT&M Family" "Graduate" "Page of Forums" "Mentor" etc...

Some are pretty self explanatory, but I can't help wondering about some of these mysterious little labels. Is there a glossary or table somewhere? What do they all mean?

I was able to edit my own, so I don't think there are any official ranks or titles?

🤷‍♀️ Maybe that's the case and there isn't anything official. I didn't realise I could change my own (not sure what I would change it to anyway). Some of them sound pretty cool and interesting, and I see the same few repeat quite a bit so I thought it was a 'thing', but I don't know what they mean!

Now I'm starting to worry that I overstepped 😂

I think Family means you've registered, Supporter means you've bought a subscription and can participate in the hidden parts of the board.

Page of Forums is something assigned by the software for a  new member I think, it would probably change with a certain number of posts.

Like the CrankyPants title, I think that part is something you can add yourself, probably as a supporter.

edited to add: I see once my answer posted, I have used SW Washington USA, so definitely something you add yourself in your profile.

the S badge is Supporter, and KS is when we supported the KickStarter effort to upgrade the board.

Yes, user titles virtually always have to do with post count, with a few possible exceptions for things like financial supporters, etc. At some places, mods/admins will have a title reflecting their status, as well.
At one of Kaph's old forums, he made custom titles that ranged from "Newbie" to "Master of Cartomancy". But there was nothing to qualify anyone as a "Master", it just meant you'd posted a few thousand times, lol.

Hey there!

1-4 posts = Page of Forums

Limited access to posting and accessible areas.

5+ posts = TT&M Family

Can post most places and has more access.

Supporter

A forum subscriber, gets access to unlimited inbox space, no non-reader ads, tarot trading forums, monthly win-a-deck contests, and other perks.

Mentor/Student/Graduate

From the old defunct mentorship program, stay tuned on this.

Those are the basics 🙂

Thanks @Little Fang

I had a feeling they denoted something, just wasn't sure. Will keep an eye out for the mentorship program!
