Hello, hello! I joined sometime last year and then everything slipped my mind. I had been a lurker and occasional poster over on Aeclectic, may she rest in peace, for years and years. I went by moon but really I hardly ever participated, though I did learn so much just from reading. I'm 37 now though I got my first tarot deck when I was, hm, 12 or so. I don't think I made much progress as far as actually reading the damn cards until the last 10 years or so. Have been mostly a RWS gal and it's served me well, but have been lured into Thoth, correspondences, etc. thanks to the works of T. Susan Chang and Mel Meleen and their wonderful Fortune's Wheelhouse podcast. I have barely scratched the surface though I already feel like I've learned so much. Also love Lenormand and am now branching out into Kipper. Have spent some time with Ana Cortez's method of reading playing cards, and that's been quite enriching as well. Um, what else? I love books (own too many) and my dogs and Kate Bush and video games and summer is my least favorite season 😅 I look forward to being more active here than I was on Aeclectic, now that I feel I actually have something to offer. Ta for now!

Welcome! Your title makes me feel like "Remains of the Day" from "back in the day!" 😁 I was the Lenormand and TdM moderator for a while before AT folded, from the time Lee Bursten gave it up and left.

Well, it sounds like we agree on the Important Stuff. (Especially summer. Summers should be endured in a dim room with blackout curtains and plenty of air conditioning!) Welcome.

I wish I'd had a chance to introduce my dad to Kate Bush...I think he would have liked her a lot. Still, Cloudbusting makes me think of him 🙂

Can't imagine where I'd be without air conditioning....a puddle on the floor, I guess.

The only option would be to stay in the water 24/7. We'd need gills.
