Because my daily draws had been getting rather monotonous and uninspired recently, I went looking for something to shake them up a bit; something from outside my bubble, a question to answer with the cards in a way that would make the process feel fresh again.

I stumbled on the 'Daily Haloha' app, which is wonderful; each day there is a prompt, your reply gets sent out anonymously, and you get another response back (there is also a wall with daily replies to read).

Not designed with tarot in mind, but I've found that drawing a card and running with that imagery to formulate a reply often works really well!

And it's very light and low-pressure, perfect for social-media-avoidant people like me.

(They also have a website)

The only downside for me is that the prompts come at 14.00 my time, which is not ideal... I would prefer something where I can set my own time, so I can do it in the morning.

(I could save the prompts until the next morning I suppose - but so far, curiosity has gotten the better of me!)

Does anyone know of anything similar-ish?

Something that poses a question or something to ponder, that I could use tarot to interact with?

Could be a website, an app, a book, etc...

Any ideas welcome! 🙂

There are a lot of #tarotchallenge on instagram. A lot of them are one card a day or every second day. I don't post on IG but I like to follow a few people and I enjoy the daily prompts and challenges (well, usually for the first 7-10 days of the month and then I fall off the daily draw wagon).

Right, Instagram!

I do have an account, theoretically, and I add perhaps one or two people to follow every year or so, but then I always forget to look...

It is a bit 'noisy', all images and comments and likes, and often very little what feels like 'content'... 😉

Which people do you like for challenges and prompts?

And, in general; suggestions do not need to be tarot-based or even tarot-related! 🙂

yes, there is a lot of noise on instagram, I use two accounts, one for the noise where I can go and scroll forever, and a second one where I only focus on a few accounts that i actually enjoy reading and find useful information in.

this month I'm doing/trying to finish @purefield.healing #wildwomanchallenge , I'm not sure if she runs her challenges on a monthly basis, the prompts are every second day.

@lionharts  has nice themed challenges, new theme and new daily prompts every month

@tarotbyveronica had a nice one last month, but i don't think she hosts them every month

@bujowitchcraft has a nice list of daily prompts every month, so has @connectwithyourdeck

I also used http://debbieinshape.com, daily journaling prompts, but they sometimes repeat themselves.
