I'm AlbaTross, and I took up Tarot recently.  I now own three decks (soon to be four) and am in the process of looking at good reference books.  I started off by posting on Reddit, and that has been quite helpful (shoutout to anyone here who might be from r/tarot or r/SecularTarot).  I figured it was high time I look for a dedicated forum though, and this community seems nice, so here I am.  I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Thank you for the greetings.🙂  I'm fairly new to Tarot but I'm sure I'll continue to learn.

That's ok 😋 the honest truth is no matter how long you've been using tarot, you will alway be learning something new

That's good to know.  Lately I've been learning of the importance of personal intuition in readings even if it doesn't necessarily line up with the technical meaning of a card.

That's probably the most challenging lesson you'll learn in tarot. Once you trust yourself, you open yourself up a lot more to messages and how you are unique as a reader. So you should be really proud of yourself!

Thanks, I still have a ways to go in training that intuition though.  I find it gets easier the more I do readings or help others with theirs though, so perhaps the best thing I can do is keep it up.  But, I am finding I'm starting to notice things more like subtle details in the pictures on cards that I didn't pay any attention to before.

Definitely. It's pretty cool when that happens. So many more messages come through once you become familiar with the images
