Linking Cards

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I wonder how do you guys link cards together?

I use RW tarot cards and am not a pro (also new to this forum as well).

It has always been hard for me to link them together to read cards “like a story”. I know that I’m supposed to find things in common but sometimes it’s very hard to do so!

any recommendations?

thanks!

yalda

I don't look for things in common. Rather, the cards modify each other. If the 3 of Cups is a party, for example, and it's followed by Death, it's over. Maybe it breaks up early, or it's cancelled.

Additionally, the people on the cards can interact with each other, or not. They can face each other and be in communication, or they can turn their backs on each other.

There's more, but you get the idea.

I've not heard of looking for things in common except in some Marseilles techniques, not RWS. But then Tarot has gotten very "anything goes" these days. Too much so, IMHO.

Just noticed this is in the memorial section. Wrong area!

Hey!

Thanks so much, this helped a lot!

I’m new to the forum, where should I post this?
