I’m not sure if this a right place to introduce myself, please move me elsewhere if this a case.

Tarot has been a part of my life over 20 years.

I’m introvert. My gemini mercury and sun are in the 12th house and it has been a long process to find a voice of my own.

Tarot and astrology have helped me enormously.

I am awkward writing english, I hope I don’t be misunderstood and I apologize mistakes in my writing. Because of this I’m not going to be very active. But I read fluently.

I have recently used and studied among others Julia Cuccia Watts Journey into Egypt Tarot and in the high priest card she aptly describes the way the christian religion or monotheistic religions were one reason (if I understood it right)why our western culture has abandoned the power of images to convey meaning and almost all we trust is written words.

According to her book: ”Words without pictures lose their meaning, they change rapidly, while words, symbols and images convey a rich universally understood story that is stable.”

We are so governed by our left brain and have lost the powers of the right brain, world of images, symbols, feelings, intuitions, second sight, capabilities to perceive how the world of the unconscious pervaids everything and the way it stirs us making us behave in certain ways.

Many people here are probably very well aware of all this, because as tarot readers, understand this area well.

The John Bauer image of High Priestess made me think how ”she” is the portal and point where pure energy transforms into concepts, words etc. according to which we begin to shape our world, both inner and outer. And the way our whole human history has (tragically?) shaped the way we understand our world at this moment.

And how we might be very unaware of the truth behind appearances, behind all that stuff we have internalized during centuries, which can be partly lies and misinformation.

I’m very grateful of the way tarot has helped me to be more aware and conscious person.

Thank you!!💓💓

I have learned so much from all you tarot people over the years, it’s great to feel to be part of the tarot tribe. There is still so much to learn in tarot and as a human being. Although I’m sixty years I still often feel more like a frightened child than a grown up woman😳

Thank you blue_crow_laura🙂!!

By the way, I’m from Finland, land of rather quiet and shy people, not very well versed  in small talk, but rather honest and sincere😌.

Thank you Raggydoll and Ekati, kiitos Hemera🇫🇮💗!

Oh, I have to confess, I have this stage fright and many times I rather would go under the blanket and hide. But I’ happy now I took this little step forward😀.
