Hello Tarot Lovers! 🙃

 

I JUST joined this forum today and I'm so excited to be connecting with other tarot lovers. I've been using tarot cards to do readings for myself (very nonchalantly) for the last 10 years but recently decided to dive in deep to really understand the meanings and offer readings to my friends and family as well. 

I use RWS based decks; currently using The Everyday Witch and Modern Witch decks. 

 

I'd love to connect with other's who want to talk about the meanings of the cards, readings, spreads, history... basically anything tarot lol. Are there any zoom meetups in this community to learn and discuss tarot?

Welcome, @Bri! 😄 Happy to have you here! I hail from the Midwestern US. A lot of snow on the ground here right now.

 

Las Vegas is a cool—and very weird!—place! I would like to go back there someday!

 

Unaware of any Zoom meetings going down here on the forum, but it’s a sweet idea if no one is doing it.

Zoom meetings are a bit of a rarity here, but there's no reason that couldn't change. We had a series of them planned over at the 78 Weeks group:

Then everybody fell away, including me. The group has only recently started to see activity again, so who knows....

That group was pretty demanding - not the people, but the concept of writing about a card every week. The holidays killed it for a lot of people. Other groups are less of a commitment, get more guaranteed participation and would lend themselves well to regular meetings. There's no reason ANY study group shouldn't have zoom meetings. (And it's fun seeing who looks the way you imagined them and who doesn't.) You could definitely join a few and float the idea out there.

Hi and welcome to TT&M @Bri! You picked a great place to talk about everything tarot. 

 

I'm in the Midwest. There's snow on the ground (not as much as usual), and it's been bitter cold (colder than usual)! Hope the weather has been beautiful in Vegas. 🙂

We don't currently have any general zoom meetings being offered, but you are welcome to post about it in the forums and see if anyone else wants to join you.
