Raiane Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 (edited) The meanings of the ten of cups like long-term relationship, harmony, soulmates and homecomings tsc.. always brought me a a very happy vibe but in my life this card mostly appears whenever a big relationship is coming to an end (not always a harmonic one). So I personally see this as fate, a karmic long-term relationship coming to it's purpose (and that depending can mean marriege or separation tsc). Any thoughts about how to interprete this card alternative and negative sides? And in what contexts this card has already appeard in your experience? Edited March 9, 2021 by Raiane
Ekati Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Hello @Raiane! I have seen it many times indicating an existing family or people that are married for a long time. Also for the feeling of fulfillment after acheiving something important for me.
LoveLightPeace Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 10 of Cups Rx Plumbing issues: frozen pipes (bathroom and kitchen), a burst pipe, and the kitchen sink leaking like a sieve. Weather related: 2+ feet of snow overnight, rain storms that result in a few inches of rain falling in a short amount of time, the river / lakeshore flooding due to ice jams. Car issue: the hose that connects to the radiator burst.
WildWoman71 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I see 10s as completing cycles - not endings...when I get the 10 of Cups it is a reminder for me to realize that while I worked hard to get everything I have - I need to remain grateful and share my learnings, wisdom etc with others. There's medicine in each card - although I agree some are a lot more work than others lol WW
tempress Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 it can mean superficial happiness or an unrealized ideal of joy and family life. 10 of pentacles is a card i've often seen in relationships that were carrying heavy legacies of intergenerational trauma. 10 of cups has shown up for me to say a connection has gone as far as it could and to see the silver lining in that, to remember the promise of every ending sparking a new beginning.

Guest Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 For me, the Tens often represent a change or passage in circumstances connected to the suit. So you might have to leave somewhere or someone to progress. The Ten of Cups can indicate one’s extended family and the neighbourhood in which one lives (in contrast to the Ace that is your house and immediate family).
testpattern Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Tens very often speak of things past their prime. Like so ripe it's starting to soften. This is not always an ending full stop, some times it's the ending of a passage or a process.

Raiane Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 @testpattern yes yess this makes a lot of sense, being a ending of progress and passage instead of definitive resumates a lot. Also @timtoldrum having to leave people so beacause of the progress, i can see that as well. Thank you for your replies!

This is exacly what i'm going through..when this relationship ended i felt a instant release of bagage like all karma between us has gone for good, we finally completed our cycle together and we could move. But at the same time was one of the hardest separation i've had, and part of me can't see this new beggining with great eyes...but i'm accepting it Edited March 17, 2021 by Raiane
Raiane Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 @WildWoman71 yes i do see now as more of completing cycles and with the help of this comment session as a advice to be grateful for the completion and possibly new begginings instead of only focusing on the pain of what was left behind. Thank you for your reply
Grizabella Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Plumbing issues? Interesting! I'll stick that in the meanings vault and see when it pops out. 🙂 I've learned that any one card usually has the most meaning in its context, just like a word in a sentence. I read mostly card combinations in spreads because of this. I agree that the 10's mean endings sometimes. The situation has gone as far as it's going to. That can be either happy or sad. Sometimes even comforting, like when you've settled into a solid relationship that isn't going to go through all the ups and downs and troubled spots of the early times but instead is just cozy, comfy, and lasting and you know you can count on it.
