Raiane Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 (edited) So i was doing a spread related to places and i thought that this would be a good idea for a topic. I've seen people doing cards as people or as music but didn't see this one yet. So how do you see a certain card as a place or types of places? I'll start, so i choose Six of cups: •A place that is familiar to the person and that the person created a lot of memories on. It can be the place they grew up as a child or the place that their family/ loved ones reside. Or places they used to feel safe. •It can also be a place that is good to raise children. •A place that has a supportive net (of neighbous/ people that care for you). •A peaceful place that's far away from the daily stresses of life that you can have fun. •A place with pleasant weather. Maybe a little colder or hoter but no extreme tempetures. •Places with flower fields and water bodies. Now it's your turn, what's an interesting card and wich kinda of places would you give it? sixdegrees Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I'm surprised that more people haven't moved on this. I drew a random card to give it a go: Nine of Pentacles (from the RWS). In no particular order... A garden A winery Somewhere that needs to be cleaned up (the woman's glove makes me think of yellow latex gloves commonly used for such a task) Somewhere you've worked hard to get to Somewhere you go at the end of the day to unwind A lush area within walking distance of your residence A place that has been forgotten by others but not by you An aviary A tailoring shop or dressmaker's space The prom A place where you feel safe and secure A graduation ceremony (in some ways the woman's dress looks like a cap and gown) A place of your own making A place where you feel isolated from others Somewhere outdoors without much overhead coverage--where perhaps you are exposed without necessarily realizing it. (In some ways the IX looks like an anvil that's about to drop on her head!) Thanks, this was fun! I may come back and do another one at some point when I have more time.
SheBeast Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Brilliant idea. Would it work as a thread under a study header maybe? Great idea.
