Missing GIF button

My GIF button has totally disappeared from my PMs, as well as some other functions. It's still there when I post publicly in threads, but my Compose PM box looks like this:

 

 

As compared to what I'm seeing here in the threads:

I tried changing the theme from Uniform Dark to Chameleon Dark and I'm still having the same issue. Help, please!

Is it there when you go to compose a new message?

 

What browser and version are you using?

 

I'm using the default forum theme. Safari 14.0.3 

The GIF button is there when I go to compose a new message. 

It's missing from the reply box in existing PM's

I just checked and yes, it's there for new messages but not replies.

I'm using Chrome - not sure which version, but I updated recently.

(ETA: Version 89.0.4389.82)
I don't even like Chrome, I use Pale Moon for most other things. But with Pale Moon I'm still getting the mobile version on my laptop. So I keep Chrome open for the forum.

I've had to add it back, it vanished again? 😞

I'll check it when I'm at the computer. I don't know why it's disabling itself.

I've got the missing gif button problem too, although for me it's the reply box at the bottom of the thread 😭

I'm using chrome on mobile if that helps...

Forum software keeps removing it, I don't know why. I add it back but it's a glitch I cannot control 😞
