So, I've been reading cards for about 6 months and this one threw me for a loop: I found a "new love" spread and the Queen of Cups reversed was in the placement of "where you will meet him/her" and now I'm stumped! How would you read this card as a location/place/etc? Thanks!

Because to me, this card signals not a specific place but the specific circumstances that you will be in when you find this person. So I would say that you will have one of those days when you have lost your focus a bit, and feeling somewhat unbalanced (emotionally) and a bit frazzled. Due to feeling like this, you might choose to change your plans for that specific day and decide to do something that will soothe and calm you down (like going to a small cafe, a cosy book shop or a good friends house for a cup of tea) and that's how/where you will find this person. (This is certainly not any "traditional book meaning-interpretation", I'm well aware of it. It is just the feeling I got when I read your post. Do keep in mind that I have not yet had my first cup of morning coffee so this might be completely off ;))
DanielJUK Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 When I do a location, I look at the the card and see if it intuitively triggers something in the artwork. This card upright shows usually a throne by the sea, normally on rocks but dry and on the throne are shells and fish. This represents emotions and water, emotional balance. This card is reversed and so where you are feeling emotionally imbalanced, it's not a peaceful seat by the sea. Perhaps the waves would go over you! Or on a metaphysical level, a place where you are spending too much time in your head feeling and thinking, it's like a dream world. Or a place where you feel emotional extremes, like upset. You might meet when you are day dreaming and not paying attention to the conscious world ;D
