Hi guys, my name is Shay.

I’m new here. My mom introduced me to tarot via YouTube back in 2016. Funny, because before that, I met someone that did a reading on me during a music festival, and out of nowhere told me that spirit wanted him to give me his tarot deck. I refused at the time, but in December 2020, I purchased a deck, and instantly became very in tune with my intuition and was easily able to connect the cards. 4 months later, I’m doing readings and helping others to heal and find themselves. I began to realize that when my friend tried to give me his tarot deck, it was because I was meant to read.

Anyways, I just turned 25 last week #TeamTaurus, and I’m a Florida girl, with Jamaican roots. Feel free to message me or get to know me!

Welcome

, what deck you using ?

Wiuld it be fair to say you are primarily a inuitative reader or did you take course.

Some take a text book, study it like ir is a bible and learn that way.

There are many many many things you can do here.

I use Universal Waite, Light Seers, Modern Witch, & both Ciro Marchetti Lenormand and Fin de Siecle Kipper decks.

And to answer your other question, I would say both. When I first started reading I had a basic understanding from years of watching YouTube readers, and then I rented a library ebook one day about tarot. It basically just explained basic definitions and the different spreads used to read, such as the Past-Present-Future, Celtic Cross, and House spreads. I just read the book once and took notes as I went along, and then after about two weeks, I didn’t need my notebook.

That's the best possible answer.
Using intuition shouldn't mean refusing to crack a book, and study shouldn't mean ignoring instincts.
