Lenormand Reading Circle?

Would anyone be interested in this? I was thinking perhaps a monthly circle to practise 3x3 readings. I would need someone to help me host it, if we do have enough people who are keen to take part regularly. 🙂
 

As Lenormand tends to be predictive, here’s a suggested schedule:

Week 1: Sign up window

Week 2: Partners assigned, readings completed

Week 3: Break/waiting to see what happens

Week 4: Feedback & discussion 

 

Please also let me know if this is something you are NOT interested in doing, now or in the future. It does need decent numbers to work in the long run so that there’s some variety in who reads for who. ☺️

I’m not there with lenormand yet, but would love the practice.

I would like to participate!!!! 3x3 is a lot tho for newbie..I would suggest 3 cards spread. Question can be week ahead for the partner

I'm also keen, although as others have said 3x3 is a lot to start with for beginners.

 

Perhaps we could start with 3 cards or a 5 card cross and gradually work up to a 3x3?

 

Or perhaps have 2 options - one for those that want just 3 cards and one for people who are happy with a 3x3?

Does this have to be done, here? Could it not be done in the your readings section or sections rather than flooding the main section with sign up threads.

The 3 x 3 is good practice for beginners. It is eight trios.

Those draws are better for questions.

 

If the host(s) is looking for general forecasts, alternatives might be the tirage du chien de pique or  the four elements which has two cards for each life area.

There would only (if others are anything to go by) one sign up thread per month. And the main section would get the signups seen by more members.

 

But yes - the individual threads would fit better in Lenormand readings.

When @Albadawnreturns maybe it could be clarified. These sign-up threads do tend to swamp sections, especially when multiple ones are created each month. Less active sections - such as the Lenormand - can be negatively affected. 
 

However, one will not intrude upon the thread any further. I hope most participants find it useful. With @katrinka’s help they are all in good hands. It’s a shame Katrinka couldn’t be a moderator for the Lenormand section.

Sign-up threads and all readings would be posted in the Exchange section, not here.

 

I’m delighted to see that so many people are interested. Thank you very much @katrinka for volunteering to host it with me. I’ll PM you to discuss the “behind the scenes” side of things.

I just wanted to say that where I am right now in my lenormand journey, 8 trios seems pretty overwhelming for me.

I am managing a 5 card cross okay, I'm just not ready to make the step up yet.

 

Anyway back on topic.

I'm happy for the people running it to do what spreads they like, I just may not join in if it seems too much for me right now.

The beauty of the reading circle is the study

If they do 3x3,i be happy to work though it with you my friend.

We can divide it up into 3 diffrrnt 3 cards that relate.

I think possibly the best thing is to pair everyone off and then it’s up to the readers what they want to practise - so in pairs deciding if they want to do 3 cards, 5 cards, etc 🙂 As long as there is thorough feedback then everyone would get the opportunity to practise and learn! ☺️

Right totally agree with you @Albadawnlet the pairs decide how they want to go about. If we do 2 different groups, that would complicate things more. Plus once we started we can see how it develops, nothing is written in stone.

I'd be interested. Though all my decks, owing to a packing mishap, are currently in storage (bar one Tarot, probably my least favourite). But in the future, yes, definitely.

To give a more serious response - we don’t do pure sectional moderators here. Even those that keep an eye on particular areas are also doing basic moderating. And currently, we are fully staffed! 🙂

Sorry for trying to play the clown.  I'd been waiting for an excuse to use that image for ages. That said, my support for Katrinka as a mod was genuine. Not that I'm suggesting the current mods aren't doing a great job, 'cause they are. 🙂
