AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 shown on the book, Tarot: the Cards of Destiny with P. Marsilli and A.Vitali (Le Tarot, Faenza, 1988) found on Giordano Berti's site.
EmpyreanKnight Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 This is from the Tarot of Charles VI, the Estensi Tarot. I did say that I love metallic Tarot decks. If you look at the Moon card from the Golden Tarot of the Renaissance, you'd see this image, AJ-ish. :)
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted November 27, 2017 Author Posted November 27, 2017 ah. Had the Estensi, traded it on, too smoothed out if that makes sense. but the Tarot Charles VI/Gringonneur that is gorgeous! In my searching I'm not finding minors, are they majors only decks? Thank you,Sharyn
EmpyreanKnight Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 I don't have an intimate knowledge of the Charles VI/Gringonneur/Estensi. I only recognized the image from Lo Scarbaeo's foiled Golden Tarot of the Renaissance, which is a complete set with many of the cards newly created AFAIK. I do know that only 16 or 17 cards survived so they were not even enough for a complete set of majors. I don't know if all those are from the majors either.
