It's nice he is putting the left over decks up for people to buy. Also for us UK folk, he's putting them on etsy so we can get them with our complicated tax / customs / VAT logistics now. Going to try and get one if I catch one of the lots going up for sale 🙂

yw to both! This deck was a long time coming and honestly it was entirely worth the wait. a really LOVELY piece of work. 10/10 can recommend.

I had a go at trying to get this deck as I missed the original KSer but it sold out in under 3 mins! Fyodor posted the links to get it on his social media and then a lot of people wrote angry comments that they had a deck stuck in their basket and couldn't buy it before it sold out. He is selling them in groups of 100 and there will be 7 or 8 more drops he promises!

 

Anyway the big news 🚨 to quell the angry people he made an announcement and that is USGames is going to publish the deck in Spring next year. So there will be a mass published deck if you cannot get his self-published version This was in his latest post on instagram here.

- I will continue selling the decks 100 at a time. I know a number of people asked for a higher stock drop, but having done this once, I can confirm that this is the amount I am able to get packaged and shipped out in a reasonable time frame that serves both me and the buyers best. I would prefer to continue doing this in manageable batches in order to keep myself from becoming overwhelmed and my customers from having to wait a long time for their orders.

- As promised, I am varying the times and days of these drops in order to accommodate a variety of people in different time zones and operating on different schedules. I will try to do this every time I do a drop.

- All decks will be sold ONLY THROUGH ETSY this time for BOTH INTERNATIONAL AND US BUYERS. My hope is that this will eliminate the confusion of having two different links, take care of the issue some international buyers had at check out, and cut down on the problem of cartjacking.

- A reminder that if you miss out on the second drop, there will still be multiple opportunities to buy the 1st edition of the Fyodor Pavlov Tarot in the next several sales, and a US Games Systems print of the deck is coming in Spring 2022.

I tried so hard to get one in the first drop - had an alarm set for ten minutes before, at one minute after had it in my cart and even using one click paypal, by the time it redirected back to the site it had been pulled out of my cart and out of stock. At three minutes after. I'm probably not going to try for this drop at all.

 

On the one hand, SUPER frustrating. Literally could not have been faster trying to get it! On the other hand, I'm really happy to see them getting this attention and selling so many decks!

Same thing happened to me! The deck was in my cart as I was about to pay, and then it was *poof*! But! I'm glad it will be available to more people.

I can rarely afford an indie deck with shipping factored in, so when I save up for an indie deck I like to know that it'll still be available when I've saved enough to get it. Doesn't look like I'll be able to do that for this deck, which is why I'm thankful that there will be a mass market edition. It'll be a long wait, but worth it for me.

glad it will be better for you with your budgeting @Mokona 🙂 The massmarket version is my backup if I cannot get the self-published but gonna give it a go.

 

Will watch the next drops and hopefully catch one. The next one will be on etsy for everyone which should stop the whole deck in cart and then it was gone so you could not check out scenario

Another 2m sell out--with an added problem, the artist used the same listing on Etsy from the first drop so anyone reloading on the front page never even saw the entries. Everyone who got one was camping the actual listing linked in prior sales. A note for any of you trying for one in the next batch!

It also helps you have your info in and updated so that you can use the "Buy it now" button, which bypasses the basket.

@cosita Yesss more than a few people ran into that. Ah well, I've favorited the item so I'm not expecting the main page to load anymore. I'm fortunate to just be attempting to get a friend a gift; I backed the deck ages ago, in the Before Times. For anyone trying to get one for themselves rather than the USG one, I sympathize. 😕

@cosita I was wondering the same--I suspect that's why the demand for this is so high; everyone's concerned the nudity will be censored, which I completely sympathize with. 

 

And I did! I was lucky enough that someone with a completely unused copy saw one of my posts on an FB forum and we worked out a deal. So that's one bit of unobtanium I now have to use on the regular. Sooo happy with it.

@Niobium Congrats on finding that ex-unobtainium! I have one and I remembered your WTB post in the trading section, but I really couldn't let go of mine. I don't use it as often as I'd like but it's always a lot like coming home when I do get it out. Glad you're happy with it!

thanks for flagging the sale @Niobium I had it marked on my calendar and also had found the etsy link to his shop (with no items on). When it turned the hour (5pm my time), I refreshed and saw it! I clicked on it and it said 46 or more people have it in their basket and then it said sold out. I saw on his instagram that some people had it in the basket / cart and it wasn't actually there! Anyway I saved the product link for next time, it has gone from his shop now. Really there should be a better way to do this. Good tips @Niobium and @cosita it is making more determined to grab it in a future drop 🤣

 

When I added his account to follow to my instagram, I noticed a lot of my LGBT+ community friends all followed him and he is popular for his tattoo art, for his general art, for being a LGBT online figure and now this tarot, so there are a lot of communities who want this copy of his art, not just our tarot community. It's gonna be tricky 😮 However I am not defeated with it 🙂

I'm grateful to have gotten a copy. I was on the Etsy shop (iPhone app) 15 minutes before the release. I refreshed constantly, saw the listing, added it to my cart and paid immediately. I made sure my PayPal payment details were pre-entered (and that the phone I used was a PayPal-recognized device) so it was quicker to check out. By the time I checked back on the listing, 12:02, the decks were sold out.
