Hi 👋 New here

Hello friends. I'm so happy to find a real life traditional forum 🙂  I was on Aeclectic for only a short while before it shut down and that was when I was dabbling with tarot. I'm back and really making some headway learning, so I'm excited to find this awesome forum to hang out with you guys.

My favourite decks are ones that are rich in symbolism (e.g. Gilded Royale). There's so many that I have on my wishlist, but I'm trying to be tactical about which ones I buy. I can probably say the same for tarot books! Trying to really use the ones I have for now, and not just buy all the ones that look good.

I suggest checking out the denabling thread before you check out new tarots hehe

 

Conversely, i suggest researching the newest book for kindle.. 

Find the one you are really lacking.. astrology, inuitative, textbook

Just find the one.. while you doing that.. 

Go where the force takes you hehr

glad you have found us here @Pretzel we miss AT and there are still some forums going like us 😊 welcome to the community!

tactical is a great way to go, I had a time when I had a load of new decks I never even used. There is plenty of time to get every deck you want or feel attracted to 🙂

"Tactical" is a MUCH more fun word than "prudent" or "cautious". And you've got a Carolyn Jones Morticia. I like that. 🙂

Thank you! Yes I decided that although they're so lovely to look at, I'd feel terrible with them just sitting there. Not to mention that I wouldn't end up 'knowing' them well enough. I'm trying to use the ones I have well... so I can notice all the little things. Then buy ones that might fit a different purpose.

Thank you! I noticed that thread - I'll have to duck in there today.

Great idea - yeah that's what I'm thinking too... just go for the parts I'm lacking. I like that you can get samples on Kindle, to get a feel of the book before I buy it.
