Stina1701 Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 Just introducing myself to the forum. This might be my only post as I am a bit of a lurker at heart, although I have been known to surprise myself. But anyway, I am Stina1701 and I am just become interested in Tarot. I was given a deck and a book combo in my own language, by Jonathan Dee. The purple box. This was given to me over 20 years ago. Yes I am old. This gift has been with me virtually unopened for all this time until early this year where I decided to learn it. Tarot, that is. I remembered the box and found it in one of my boxes and opened it. So. Yeah. I have also bought the Waite-Rider cards and will probably buy others but I decided to stay with my Jonathan Dee cards. I have read the book but I want to learn more, which is why I am here. And that is it. Thank you.
HOLMES Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 Welcome.. Tarot can be a multifaceted journey. Most of us based on our experiences try to make it as organic as possible for you if you ask advice in tbreads,or start your own . Right now would be what is your purpose. Example i could use the tarot everyday for mediative purpose while i learn or one could do daily readings in the daily draws. Kne might suggest a journal type experience like tarot for yourself or not hebe. So look around !! And we shall try to be kind.
