Mawang (Lucifer/The Devil) - Korean tv drama featuring Stella's tarot

I'm new here  :). I wanted to know if there are any more Mawang-fans hanging out here? For those of you who don't already know about it, it is a Korean tv series that became really popular in Asia a couple of years ago. It features a psychic woman who can read objects (psychometry) and she is asked to help the police solve some murderers where a tarot card (from Stella's tarot) has been sent to the victims. It is a really well made show and you can watch all episodes with English subtitles for free on YouTube. (Just search for Mawang Lucifer). I have the Stella's tarot and it is one of my absolute favorites, and this show has just made it even better. They talk about tarot symbolism and explain some of the majors in the series also.

I have neither heard of the TV series nor Stella's Tarot, but the premise sounds really interesting. I'm saving this for when I'm looking for something outré to watch. :)

Stella's tarot has recently gone out of print so it might be a little bit tricky to get a hold of. I managed to find some "new old stock" decks at a metaphysical store and bought it earlier this year. It has since become one of my most used decks. I felt a strong connection with it from the start, it's a bit weird but I feel a sort of tingeling in my fingers when I use it and sometimes I hear very faint whispering from it. This is the first time I've had that sort of reaction to a tarot deck (I have been reading tarot for around 20 years now). But I don't consider this deck to have some magical properties on its own, it's is probably just that the images resonate really well with me at this point in time. I would not want to contribute to making a deck all hyped up so that people think that it's THE ONE and that they must have it. I believe any deck (or object) can have this type of effect on a person if it's the right time and circumstances for it.

Yes, that's the one! I trimmed mine but left the titles in the bottom. I like small decks so it is a perfect size for me now. I would say that this deck is a combination of RWS and Thoth; courts are Thoth-system and some of the other cards use Thoth symbology, the rest feel very RWS except a few cards that have a slightly unusual twist (I especially appreciate what's been done with seven of swords, reminds me a little bit of the Druidcraft version). There are some reviews on YouTube. I know that Katie Flowers has it as one of her absolute favorite decks also, so she features it quite a bit on her channel.
