I added a new Library area to the Tarot section!  Right now there are two categories, General Tarot and Deck Reviews.  I can add more as needed, but right now I'd like to test this so we can have a nice reading area.

Please don't select any other topic elsewhere for Add as Article except the library.  I'm looking into ways to limit this.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I like this idea! Especially the deck reviews area. I'll be writing some soon ... I hope!

I like this idea - be good to have a little library here.

I like this addition! In time I'd like to write up reviews for some of my decks.

This is nice! I might just try my hand at writing deck reviews myself.

On second thought, I don't think I'd be good at making reviews. If I don't like or if I feel lukewarm/neutral towards a deck, I don't see the point of writing one at all. If I love it, I will gush and rave and praise it to high heavens so that my objectivity would be very much suspect.

Page of Ghosts did a good job in creating the site's maiden review tho.

What kind of articles were you thinking of for General Tarot? I quite like writing, if there's something specific anyone would like to see I'd be happy to research it and write up my findings!

I love having a section for articles and reviews.  I am also interested in contributing to this section, especially the review section as I have a relatively large collection and it will get me using more of my decks.

What types of articles are you interested in having on the site?

I actually find all reviews helpful when I am looking to purchase a deck so your neutral/lukewarm/or issues with a particular deck could be very helpful.  I usually do a web search and read several reviews as well as look at cards and message boards prior to purchasing.  It is good to get a full picture and helps me make a more informed decision.

I wonder if books and other resources (like online classes, free or paid, or blogs even) could be good for this section?

You know what, you made a very good point. Your and Page of Ghost's reviews have inspired me too. I'll be posting my own reviews. :D

I am so glad to hear that!

Little Fang, would it be possible to have a pinned index thread (in the deck review section) with links to the reviews in alphabetical order once we get more reviews in the section?  Right now it is obviously not a priority or need, but in the long run I think it would assist members in finding the deck reviews they are looking for.

That definitely can be done once we get more reviews!  Thanks for the suggestion.  :-*

Hey LF, are there any particular books, decks, or deck types you would like to have reviewed?

Even if you're lukewarm, neutral or just dislike a deck, the review would still be helpful. For example, if you don't like the art style of a deck, or just find it difficult to use, I can use your comments to help me decide when I'm vacillating about a purchase. All input is helpful.
