Jewel13 Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Newbie here and NO idea where I should post this question. Looked for a general discussion forum, but the one that is there didn't have start new topic feature. SO apologies for the misplacement. I went to cut my deck over my lap and they slipped from my hands and hand half landed in my coffee cup. Not sure why they didn't drop straight down into my lap, but they didn't. I washed them off and they are drying now. What have people done with cards that have gotten wet? Is this part of the history or need a new deck? Help. Also, please direct me to the proper forum if this is not ok here.

Otherwise personally I would buy another copy in this case; but if it is an expensive OOP... 🤕

Look at this Lenormand! https://thecartomancer.bigcartel.com/product/destroyed-dondorf-lenormand-fortune-telling-cards-c-1880 But if the stock is all swollen and warped, you probably need a new deck. Lowest (if 3 scaled) or in between first and second lowest (if 5 scaled) grade. Put card on slat, moist fabric thereover and carefully, calmly, gently, with a lot of attention, iron dem. The ironed cards go between the books (flat for base, tome for top, obviously). Wishing you success, and (prematurely) congratulations! You now own a personalised deck! LOL It has history now!
