Hello From California

Hello,

I just received my first deck on Friday. Have been experimenting and talking with my much more experienced friend. Was hoping to find a place to learn and grow with Tarot. Looking forward to interacting with you all soon.

Hello @joy I have a holographic version of the A.E. Waite deck.

Welcome @Ashleigh!  I'm pretty new here myself, but I've been reading through some of the specific deck study threads on the forum.  Your Waite deck is also known as the Rider Waite Smith tarot, or RWS, and is one of the most used decks for learning.  Pamela Coleman Smith was the artist, and in ye olden times, she was left out of the title and not credited well.

The forum thread for this deck is here: https://www.thetarotforum.com/forums/forum/43-rws/ hopefully my link works properly.  Your holographic deck sounds awesome, here I go to look up pictures! 🏃‍♀️

Welcome to the forum @Ashleigh glad you have found our community :animated-smileys-signs-085::78496:

Good luck with your tarot learning with your new deck and I hope you can get a lot out of the forum 🙂

When you get to 5 posts, you can join in exchanges here, more of the forum will open up to you. Of course when you feel you want to practice with others.

Welcome aboard! You picked the most recommended deck for learning. Everybody knows RWS. 🙂

Welcome to the TT&M Family. Hope you enjoy your time and learn a lot !
