Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, so I'd like to introduce myself first. My name is Ylenia; I am 18, I am from Italy, and I have been reading tarot for around a year. My interest in tarot came up when my TikTok fyp started being flooded by these readings; I was a bit skeptical at first, and I didn't have enough money to get a proper reading, so I just said, "Alright I'm going to learn it and do it for myself." I am so glad I did! Tarot for me was a huge turning point in my life, I was already going through a period of transition, and it just helped me see my situation more clearly. The most important thing I learned from using them is that life isn't black and white and that there is always a positive side even to the worst situations. I think that so far, I've been able to master everything quite well in just a year; however, I'm always open to learning more and helping others, so I'm looking forward to interacting with you!

Thank you! Currently, I'm using only The Modern Witch Tarot deck, as that's what is calling me the most right now. Until a few months ago, I loved using the XIII Tarot; not the best for beginners (it was my first deck), but I just felt very called to it as soon as I saw it.

Nice!  When I first started tarot I used a deck I was pulled towards rather than the more traditional RWS!  I think I wouldn't have kept going if I started with the RWS as the artwork style just isn't for me!

At first, I literally didn't like the RWS artwork style at all; I've heard that you just get called to it when it comes to the first deck. Almost none of the most popular decks were attractive to me, and I just didn't see them fit as my first deck; it was love at first sight with the XIII Tarot.

Welcome to TT&M.  Great to hear how positive you are as I've found a positive life attitude to be extremely beneficial when doing readings.  It raises my vibrational level and allows better communication with my spirit guides, angels etc.

I've found a jaundiced eye to be extremely beneficial when doing readings, human nature being what it is. I don't vibrate, but I don't really drink enough to get the shakes - that would make imbibing much less fun.

Welcome!

I don't have spirit guides or angels, but I too have a jaundiced eye... Welcome to the forum.

There's usually a mundane explanation for the uncanny.
Not always, but usually. I'd look at spirits or angels only after other explanations had been ruled out.
