Writing the Little White Book …

… is a lot harder than one would think!  If you simply plop down the simplified meanings that are available in any of the easily-found works on RWS-style cards, then you’ve just created one more little cookbook.  You haven’t explained any of the thinking behind the cards, you’ve left out smaller insights you’ve gained on cards and card combinations over the years, and you’ve shortchanged an audience of people with a few pages of paper that will be lost immediately.
But if you write a real book, it’s far too big to fit in the box, and makes the thing too expensive to produce.  For me, anyway.  What to do?

I went print-on-demand.  That way I don’t have closet space overflowing with unsold books, and only as many are printed as people who may want them.

I got a constant stream of requests for an LWB for the Prairie Tarot, in spite of the fact that the deck stuck quite close to Pixie Smith’s ideas.  No particular need for another book, I thought.  But I wrote another one even so, in my own way, with some extra material on the numerological keys to card meanings. (So, it’s here, for anyone wondering: https://amzn.to/3mAT51d. Also, there’s a downloadable kindle version: https://amzn.to/3ez7eHU  ).
